Great miniature version of the original book. Hard for my toddler to destroy and easy to throw in the diaper bag or car.
We did a storybook party for our little one and needed more board books for our fireplace decor. This was a childhood favorite of mine. This book was perfect, exactly as described, arrived quickly in perfect condition.

Dr. Seuss books are classics. You can’t go wrong with any of them. My niece asked for books for her birthday, and she specifically asked for this one. She enjoys the rhyming, and she is able to read these out loud on her own. They’re great bedtime stories because they don’t take too long to read.
I purchase this book for every baby! Fun to read out loud with your kiddos.

I bought 8 different books by Dr. Seuss for my young grandaughters. Of course I had to read them first because I love his books. I think when I give them to the kids, this one in particular, I will read it to them. I could hardly read it aloud without my tongue feeling twisted. But it was hilarious. I think that after I read it they will love the challenge of reading it themselves. I'm glad they love to read and it's great to have books like this for younger readers.

My kids and now my Grandkids LOVE IT when I read this book. So many tongue twisters. Definitely a classic book. "Let's have a little talk about tweetle beetles. "When two tweetle beetles fight it's a tweet beetle paddle, and when they battle in a puddle it's a tweetle beetle puddle battle..." Too much fun!
Not sure why this is rated as a beginner book, but if so then it's a trial by fire. Kids love the story, but only when its being read to them. It is a fun book but not for beginner reading for average kiddo.
