Great spin on the Hades/Persephone trope
Oohh, it's getting good!! I love that Persephone has followed her heart to be a good goddess and is still able to have the love she desires.
Well…dang!Ended on a cliffhanger, but I’ll be enjoying the final installment in a few daysEmotionally powerful read.The love shared between Hades & Persephone is incredibleThe powers that be are determined to bring about and endAll in all, the spice was amazing but a little too much. Words I never thought I’d utter. While I thoroughly enjoyed the entire story, we probably could have done without a few of the scenes. I feel like it sort of took away from the traumatic moments they experienced. Sometimes, comfort can be found in simple gestures like being wrapped in the arms of the one you loveI got a whole “Mother knows best” vibe from reading this one. Demeter is truly demented.
Couldn’t put this book down!!! One of the best retelling I’ve read.. can’t wait to finish the series!! An absolute masterpiece
