Hadley Hunter's world is about to get bigger...and maybe not in a good way.
When bodies wash up on the Moonstone Bay beach, it's obvious there's trouble afoot.
Where, though? When her future mother-in-law identifies one of the bodies as belonging to
Julian Nichols' bodyguard, Hadley knows they're in trouble.
Julian Nichols is Miami's biggest and baddest shifter...and he's out there, somewhere. On top of that, come to find out, there's some island gossip regarding Julian. It seems that his mother had an affair with Galen Blackwood's father right around the time Julian was conceived. Does that mean Hadley's fiancé has a brother? He doesn't seem to think so.
Hadley isn't so certain, though.
Finding Julian is of paramount importance. There's just one little problem. The entire island is suddenly surrounded by sharks...and they're of the aggressive variety.
Nobody can get on or off Moonstone Bay. Someone is controlling the sharks and there are shifters lost at sea. What can they possibly do?
It's all hands on deck for another zany mystery. This one has teeth, however, and when the truth comes out at the end, nothing will ever be the same again.

Enjoyed the book, light hearted and funny. Character development is so fun and I love how the author ties in the other series.
Another mystery to solve in Moonstone Bay. An enchanting tale of shipwrecks, underwater caves and the stress of the upcoming wedding if the date can get set. Just grab a comfy seat and enjoy the banter and chaos that always seems to find Hadley, Galen and the rest of the gang.
This series is a good read, and always a fun story. I wish that Hadley was written to take the mayor role, more seriously so that she was setting the precedents for the next mayor. That was the premise in the story when she became mayor & yet she doesn’t seem to be doing that, even though at some point in the series, she felt she had no direction. In this story, there were moments she could have been “the mayor “well, questioning the people, but she was sitting quietly in a corner instead. I think that was an opportunity missed for character development.
Loved this new adventure with Hadley and Galen. Good story and bad guys. I look forward to reading more in the future
Big twist I didn’t see coming. Fun read like all her books. If you’re looking for fun books any of her series will do!
