Black Knight is part of Royal Elite Series but could be read on its own. For better understanding of the world, you might want to read the previous books first. This is a high school bully romance, mature new adult, and contains visceral mental health situations that some readers can find triggering.

This is by far my favorite of the Royal elites. Rina makes you legit feel like you’re in there with them, and this one tore my heartstrings and soul to pieces, but oh so worth it.
Oooh I loved this story. Kimmy was so relatable and I shed a few tears for her along with everything else she was dealing with. So much representation was in this book and so well. Oh but girl the twists were twisting!Even though Spotify decided my listening hours were up 60% and interrupted my read (Spotify you gotta fix that bro!) I still loved this book with my whole heart!
I love how the author keeps you guessing, and then throws a twist you didn’t see coming! I really love the epilogues in this series as well. You feel empty and asking about the other characters, cliffhanger hangers for their stories, but the epilogues for the current characters leave you fulfilled.
Man, this one tore me up. All of the books in this series have been good but this one has a raw edge authors rarely capture. Misunderstanding, brokenness, hurt, betrayal it’s all there. Not in that annoying angsty way where characters keep doing stupid things and you want to choke them out, but in a real life, the world is hard and life is cruel sometimes way. Read it, bring your tissues and all the hope you can muster for a better life despite the heartache.
Okay so I didn’t realize I would eat this up! Kim and Xanders story was very well thought out and well written! From reading what happened from their pov you understand a whole lot more on not only them but also their family dynamic, which, if I have to tell you it’s strange, nothing about this book was boring. I had the worst time putting it down!
