The #1 New York Times bestselling tale of addiction--the first in the Crank trilogy--from master poet Ellen Hopkins.
Life was good
before I
met
the monster.
After,
life
was great,
At
least
for a little while.
Kristina Snow is the perfect daughter: gifted high school junior, quiet, never any trouble.
Then, Kristina meets the monster: crank. And what begins as a wild, ecstatic ride turns into a struggle through hell for her mind, her soul--her life.

Bought for the library so I don't know if it's good but will read when I have time
Love this book. One of my favorite series to read. I love Ellen Hopkins books.
Fantastic read I highly recommend it
I ended up returning this book because it just wasn’t what I was looking for. I expected a story, but it turned out to be something entirely different—definitely not narrative-driven. The formatting was also odd, with lots of blank space and not even a full page of text at times, which threw me off. That said, I’m giving it three stars because the return process was super easy and hassle-free.
Loved the story itself just not a fan of the writing style. However after finishing the book I now see that the writing was perfectly chosen. You get a glimpse of how it was for Kristina the jumbled feeling all your thoughts smashing into one. Not knowing what here or there.
