The Gilded Insurgency is an absolute must-read series, and Crown of Bone and Irons truly blew me away. With Ayven, Eleni, Maqui, and Nik back in action, the narrative is packed with fun, drama, and captivating intrigue, full of unexpected twists and turns. I especially love how the characters are vividly portrayed, their true emotions and quirks shine throughout the series. this had everything that I wanted from the first book, the overall concept was there and I was invested in this story overall. The characters had that element that I enjoyed and was glad I got to read this. It was a great addition to the Gilded Insurgency series and hope there is more in this series. I enjoyed the way A. R. Phew this one was so much better than the first! They’re both amazing but this one had so many more mature themes. It was much darker and had more depth on the characters in it. I love me Fantasy books that really go into the fantasy aspect and give it their all. The spice was good and the pace was good. All in all id absolutely recommend to anyone who loves fantasy mixed with romance.
