A brand new twisted thriller that will have you cheering "good for her!" from the #1 New York Times bestselling and global sensation Freida McFadden, author of The Housemaid!
Sometimes, enough is enough...
Debbie Mullen is losing it. For years, she has compiled all of her best advice into her column, Dear Debbie, where the wives of New England come for sympathy and neighborly advice. Through her work, Debbie has heard from countless women who are ignored, belittled, or even abused by their husbands. And Debbie does her best to guide them in the right direction.
Or at least, she did.
These days, Debbie's life seems to be spiraling out of control. She just lost her job. Something strange is happening with her teenage daughters. And her husband is keeping secrets, according to the tracking app she installed on his phone. Now, Debbie's done being the bigger person. She's done being reasonable and practical. It's time to take her own advice.
And now it's time for payback against all the people in her life who deserve it the most.
From #1 New York Times and international bestselling author Freida McFadden comes a biting, subversive thriller about what happens when women finally choose to take justice into their own hands - with killer results.

No matter how many of her novels you read, she always finds a way to pull the rug out from under you. She has such a way with words. Her novels are the best kind of mind candy-the best chocolate bar you ever ate, only for your brain. You come away with a smile on your face, sad that itβs over, and hungry for the next.
I found the first half of the book slow and off putting. Is the entire world that stupid on where they hide keys? And No one is as clever as Debbie is, but then in typical Freida style the story picks up and itβs hard to put down. Some twists were easy. Some surprise were not.
I breezed through this book. It was very easy and enjoyable read. I just wanted to know what happened next and I was very satisfied with the ending.
Frieda McFadden has a talent for turning ordinary situations into slow-burning tension, and Dear Debbie is another example of how she gets under your skin in the best way. This is one of those reads where you tell yourself βjust one more chapter,β only to realize youβve flown through half the book. The story pulls you in quickly with a relatable setup and then quietly tightens the screws. McFaddenβs writing is sharp and accessible, making it easy to stay immersed while the unease builds in the background. I especially enjoyed how the characters felt layeredβno one is exactly who they seem at first glance, which keeps you second-guessing your assumptions the entire time. What stood out most was the pacing. It moves fast without feeling rushed, and every detail feels intentional. The tension simmers rather than explodes, which made the overall experience more psychological than sensational. If you enjoy suspense that keeps your mind engaged and your trust issues fully activated, this is a solid pick. Perfect for a weekend read when you want something gripping but easy to sink into. McFadden fans will feel right at home, and new readers will quickly see why her books are so addictive.
I love Freida's books and writing style. Dear Debbie was such a good read and definitely in my top 5 Freida McFadden books. Twisty, short chapters, and characters that were easy to keep up with. Great story!
