The highly anticipated third installment of the steamy Artefacts of Ouranos series journeys deeper into the glittering fae world as Lor puts both her life and her heart on the line in this enemies-to-lovers fantasy romance.
In retrospect, pissing off both the Sun and Aurora Kings wasn't exactly Lor's best plan. Because now they're out for blood. Hers.
But Lor is a survivor. She survived imprisonment, the Trials, and everyone else who's tried to kill her. Now--armed with just enough information to make her dangerous--she's on the run . . . with the Heart Crown in her possession and a prince at her side, who is awakening her locked-up heart and her magic.
Unrest stirs in Aphelion, where the air is heavy with whispers of rebellion--and the secrets of a king who will do everything in his power to cling to his rule. Lor finds herself caught in a maelstrom of lies and betrayal, but she is determined to uncover the truth about the Artefacts and their role in shaping her destiny--bringing her closer than ever to getting everything she's ever wanted . . . or losing it all forever.
Filled with secrets, betrayal, and a love that both stirs and stings deeply, Fate of the Sun King is the third astonishing book in the breakout Artefacts of Ouranos series, perfect for fans of Sarah J. Maas, Jennifer Armentrout, and Rebecca Yarros.

This series has me in a literal chokehold. Each page, each chapter, each book is better than the last. And that’s saying a lot cause all of them are SO GOOD! I love this story, I love the effortlessness of the world building. I love the banter Lor has with herself in her head. It’s so easy to relate to her and her inner dialogue. Nadir is a TOP TIER mmc. I love all the blossoming relationships building for the side characters. And Gabriel really grew on me in this one. I was so proud of him for what he did. This series is my current Roman Empire 💅🏼If you’re wondering if you should read it, YOU SHOULD!!!!And it’s completed 🙌
Book 3 brought the angst, the trust issues, the magical growth, and a certain ‘ice prince’ still out here calling her nicknames like it’s a love language. I mean… Lightbug? Stop. That is so cute I can’t even. The pacing is slower than the first two, but in a way that makes sense. You can feel the tension building, the emotional walls coming down, and the power rising—and not just magical power. I loved seeing the deeper bond forming between the leads and watching Lor come into her own. She’s not just surviving anymore—she’s becoming something.Zero spoilers here, but let’s just say the ending? Shook. Me. I had to sit in silence for a second. And now I’m sprinting into Book 4 because there are too many loose ends and cryptic comments and I need to know what certain people meant. If you’ve made it this far in the series, you’ll definitely want to keep going. This one hits deep.
It’s been a slow burn but we finally see the romance bloom. The plot thickens in this book and some of the mysteries unravel. The character progression and growth in this book kept my interest peaked and I can’t wait to see what happens next!
Sign me up for another 5 books :)They finally.... And then she finally... And then he.... And and and..... !!!!!!!
It was ok. Not the best because of the slow pace and the predictable plot but a nice background book
