Book three in the #1 New York Times bestselling Into Darkness Series, following the dark rom-com sensations Lights Out and Caught Up. The game is on for these enemies-to-lovers with laugh-out-loud banter and scorching-hot brat play.
I hate that woman.
Tyler Neumann has spent years looking for his father, and not because he wants to meet the man. No, he wants to destroy him. And he'll manipulate whoever he can to exact his revenge.
Including Stella McCormick. She's everything Tyler hates. Her wealth and privilege have protected her for her entire life, and Tyler thinks it's time she finally paid the price. Whether she's ready to or not.
I hate that man.
Stella might not believe in love at first sight, but loathing at first sight--no question. From the moment she sets eyes on Tyler in her tattoo parlor, she knows he's the devil planning to make her life hell.
Forced to play the part of his girlfriend and invite him into her family's glittering circles, Stella quickly clocks Tyler's ulterior motives. But love and hate are two sides of the same coin, and soon she doesn't know which is worse: being blackmailed by a man who wants to ruin her, or that they can't seem to keep their hands off each other.
This is an enemies-to-lovers dark romance with morally grey characters. Some themes and scenes may be disturbing to readers. Please check the content warning at the beginning of the book.

I wish I could give this book more than five stars. I first found this whole series through tiktok and it was lights out, I loved that book so much it was my first dark romance. I was so scared at first to start the second because I loved the first couple but I've read all three now and I love all three when I tell you these books have rewired my brain, I learned more about myself through all three of these books. I listened to the audibles of all three books at work, and usually I can keep a straight face through spicy scenes but not with these books, I was blushing and pausing what I was doing. Love love love this book and the series. I was skeptical with tyler at first but boy oh boy I was wrong about that man. Loved the ending it was so sweet and happy and funny. I cried with all three books. This one especially. Keep up the great work Navessa. I look forward to any book you write. And this book along with lights out and caught up are on my will reread again and again and again. #newkinkunlocked #comfortbooks 💙🧡💚🩶🖤💖
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 | 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5I opened this at 10:00 pm thinking, “just a few chapters before bed.” Cut to 2:30 am, 75% deep, questioning my life choices and my alarm clock. This book? Addictive. Unhinged. Absolutely feral.I LOVE a morally gray man who doesn’t just flirt. He actively has beef with the FMC because of some deeply rooted, completely misunderstood nonsense. And when he finally realizes he’s wrong? Yeah… my toxic self is giggling and kicking my feet. If you’re ✨toxica✨ like me… this will hit.A lot of people went in expecting another Lights Out situation, but like Caught Up, this is NOT that and thank god. Navessa Allen actually gives us new dynamics, new kinks, and new character energy. No copy-paste romance here. Same universe, completely different chaos. And the spice??? I’m not saying I experienced tectonic activity… but I am saying a literal earthquake hit while I was reading and I had questions. We’ve got: Brat play. Domme/sub. MMF. Size queen energy. Basically something for every morally questionable mood.😈 Bully Romance 🔥 Enemies to Lovers 🎭 Fake Dating ⏳ Reversed Age Gap 🧠 Blackmail & Revenge 🖤 Opposites Attract (finance bro x goth girl) ⛓️ Kink Exploration 👑 Power Play / Switch EnergyFinal verdict: If you want enemies to lovers that actually commit to the hate… If you want power dynamics that go both ways… If you want a book that will ruin your sleep schedule…Read this immediately.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Game On is the literary equivalent of a slow, wicked smile across a crowded room… the kind that promises trouble and absolutely delivers. From the first page, it pulls you into a world where tension hums just beneath the surface, like a heartbeat you can’t quite steady. The chemistry? Immediate, electric, and laced with just enough restraint to make every interaction feel like a dare. It’s not rushed heat. It’s deliberate. Calculated. The kind that builds and builds until you’re practically leaning into the pages.Navessa Allen crafts characters who don’t just fall for each other, they circle, challenge, and unravel one another. Their dynamic feels like a game of strategy where every move matters, every word has weight, and losing control might just be the ultimate win.And when that simmer finally tips into something deeper? It’s intoxicating. Equal parts passion and vulnerability, with moments that linger long after you’ve closed the book. This isn’t just romance… it’s a power play wrapped in longing, tension, and just enough danger to keep your pulse a little too fast.
OKAYYYY.I loved reading this. It made me chuckle so many times. I loved the banter between Tyler and Stella. The development between them was honestly such a fun read. The love/hate relationship. The angry grrgrr between them. So funny. 😂 I love how bad ass Stella was when she stood her ground against Maddie and that plot twist near the end was wild. My jaw dropped during the conversation with Tyler and his Aunt. 🫠 Oh oh and can we talk about those sexy chapters with Stella, Tyler and AJ? SHEEEEEEESH. So hot. 🥵
SPOILER WARNING This book was great! I thought the story was really interesting and a great addition to this universe. Stella and Tyler are so opposite, yet we are rooting for them the whole time. Stella may be one of my new favorite FMCs. She is so cool, and the way I just know she could walk Tyler like a dog if she wanted to? Iconic. I also thought her relationship with Runa was really sweet (I just wish we’d gotten a little more of it!)I think the development and growth of Tyler is great to see. Even when he is saying he hates Stella, we can see through his actions that isn’t fully the case. Like when he threatened Maddie at the party, I loved it. And just how willing he was to submit to Stella when he finally saw how wrong he was was another party I really loved. There are 3 reasons why I cannot bring myself to rate this 5 stars:1. The relationship with AJ: I love a good why choose/MMF romance, but we don’t get much of it in this story. In fact, right now, AJ is almost like a plot device. He’s the whole reason Stella and Tyler sleep together in the first place, and while I did enjoy the scene and love AJ, I just wish he’d been integrated into the story more. Especially since in the end, they all end up together.2. The sub/dom aspect between Stella and Tyler. We see glimpses of Tyler being a brat throughout, but we don’t see their full dynamic until just one scene. Again, another great scene I loved, but it did come a little late, and I wish there’d been more like it.3. We don’t get an official “I love you” declaration until the very last page. And Tyler thinks of Stella as the love of his life just a chapter before this, but it just seemed a bit rushed to me. I would’ve liked to at least see them thinking to themselves how much they love each other prior to the last page. Not a bad story, just a bit rushed.
