He doesn't believe that anyone holds her last name against her...so he offers her his.
Beau Eaton is the town prince, a handsome military hero with a tortured past. Bailey Jansen is the outcast bartender, a shy girl from the wrong side of the tracks. He's thirty-five and all man, and she's twenty-two and all...virgin.
He's also her fiancé. Correction: her fake fiancé.
It starts out as a bet, a point for Beau to prove. And it's a win-win: Beau gets a break from his concerned family's prying, and Bailey gets a chance to shed her family's reputation while she saves up to ditch this small town for good. All she has to do is wear his ring, follow his lead, and pretend she can't keep her hands off of him in public. Easy enough, right?
But it's what happens between them in private that blurs all those carefully drawn lines. It's what transpires behind closed doors that doesn't feel like pretending at all. This engagement was supposed to be for show. This agreement? It has an end date.
Beau once told Bailey he'd never fall in love. She's determined to make him change his mind.

Every single one of Elsie Silver’s Chestnut Springs books is lightning striking.I have a new favorite book and couple depending on the day of the week. And today it is Hopeless, the story of town golden boy and wounded veteran, Beau Eaton, and local girl Bailey Jansen, who is ready for so much more.Their story had so much depth, sweetness, and spice. There was growth, vulnerability, and a beautiful story of shedding masks that are too heavy to carry and shedding names or identities that no longer fit.A beautiful book and a must-read in the Elsie Silver universe.
Bailey's family truly is awful, not a single shred of care or protectiveness towards her in the slightest. It makes it easier to understand why the towns folk have treated her the way they have when you take them into consideration. It was sweet watching her and Beau fall in love with eachother.
The addition to Flawless I didn’t know I needed. An easy read with romantic suspense and small town comparisons that tug at the heart.
Great ending to a series I really enjoyed. Loved this family and reading about all their happy endings. Excited to see what else this author has to offer
I really enjoyed this. You feel sucked in with the characters and I didnt put it down! You dont need the rest of the series to still enjoy this one!
