"In Five Years is as clever as it is moving, the rare read-in-one-sitting novel you won't forget." --Chloe Benjamin, New York Times bestselling author of The Immortalists
Perfect for fans of Me Before You and One Day--a striking, powerful, and moving love story following an ambitious lawyer who experiences an astonishing vision that could change her life forever.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Dannie Kohan lives her life by the numbers.
She is nothing like her lifelong best friend--the wild, whimsical, believes-in-fate Bella. Her meticulous planning seems to have paid off after she nails the most important job interview of her career and accepts her boyfriend's marriage proposal in one fell swoop, falling asleep completely content.
But when she awakens, she's suddenly in a different apartment, with a different ring on her finger, and beside a very different man. Dannie spends one hour exactly five years in the future before she wakes again in her own home on the brink of midnight--but it is one hour she cannot shake. In Five Years is an unforgettable love story, but it is not the one you're expecting.

I love this author. She never lets me down with all of her great books she has written. This has to be one of my favorites.
This book had me hooked from chapter 1, I read it in one sitting. I loved the way the story flowed and how the characters meshed together. If you believe in love and fate, this is the story for you. Although there was a very sad turn of events, the love shown through all the way to the ending. Truly a great read! Looking forward to more from this author.
I loved the beginning and what I thought was the premise. And then I was annoyed that the premised was developed further. And then I was surprised at how far into the book I was (reading on Kindle) since I had no idea the ending was near. And I remained a little annoyed until those last pages. And then all was right with the (book) world. It’s good to be wrong.
A story of best friends, love, life, and loss. I read/listened to this in two days and couldn’t put it down. It’s been on my TBR list for a year and I wish I read it sooner. The characters were well developed and the author made you feel connected to them, as the reader. I’m not usually an emotional reader, but this one got me.
This books was so touching and a beautiful reminder that life cannot be scripted . I really enjoyed this book and richness of the characters .
