Unlike the electrodynamics book. I'd consider this book a poor treatment of Intro to QM. The book is not mathematically rigorous and does not discuss a lot of important concepts deeply. The first three chapters are hard to read because Griffith does not introduce Dirac notation from the very beginning, and the same issue propogates throughout the book where, if he were to make it mathematically rigorious, would be much cleaner and easier to read. For a beginner, relying on intuition is counterproductive and misleading when studying QM, and I think in this regard, Shankar is much better as a first read.
The pages all seem to be in good shape but the whole book has a bit of a curve, especially the front cover. Not bad enough that I need to return since its needed for classes but still not the most pristine, given that its brand new.
book is in good condition. my mental isnt after reading it though
Super excited for this text
