One of the more entertaining books I've read. With every story you keep asking yourself can this possibly be real? Can one person really pack this many extraordinary experiences into one lifetime? Dr. fitzgerald's stories about stand-up comedy, behind the scenes in the live music industry, and his work as a famous veterinarian could each be their on separate book. By combining them together we get behind the scenes of one of the most interesting and rare characters out there. It is entertaining in just about every possible way. Be ready to learn a lot, laugh a lot and to really wish that you could walk in this guy shoes for a year. I only wish the photos were in full color. Just buy it; You will not regret it.
As I began reading, the stories were entertaining and heart wrenching; sometimes, so robust I had to put the book down for a few hours. As he gets deeper into the book, the stories introduce you to the teacher and enrapture you in the knowledge he has to share. He is more than charming, humble, and generous, he is incredibly intelligent. It is a book that is crafted by an artist, gently and with authority, guiding you to open your heart and, as he does, embody kindness.

Kevin is the best vet in Denver and has taken extraoridnary care of my dogs for 50 years!...not only is he a comedian but he is so passionate with the animals. HE IS THE BEST..
Incredible story of one man’s journey. The first few chapters made me laugh and the last few regarding the environment while very educational at times made me cry. Dr Fitzgerald has a wonderful style that is easy to read but full of information that is so relevant today. Great summer read. Thank you Dr Fitzgerald for documenting and sharing your amazing life!

I didn't think this book would be a "page turner"...but it proved me wrong. Dr. Fitzgerald shares episodes from his absolutely fantastic life experiences and does so with lots of joy and humor.
