As I began reading, the stories were entertaining and heart wrenching; sometimes, so robust I had to put the book down for a few hours. As he gets deeper into the book, the stories introduce you to the teacher and enrapture you in the knowledge he has to share. He is more than charming, humble, and generous, he is incredibly intelligent. It is a book that is crafted by an artist, gently and with authority, guiding you to open your heart and, as he does, embody kindness.

Incredible story of one man’s journey. The first few chapters made me laugh and the last few regarding the environment while very educational at times made me cry. Dr Fitzgerald has a wonderful style that is easy to read but full of information that is so relevant today. Great summer read. Thank you Dr Fitzgerald for documenting and sharing your amazing life!
