When a cop killer cuts loose in a club called Purgatory, New York Detective Eve Dallas descends into an underground criminal hell in this novel in the #1 New York Times bestselling In Death series.

In an uptown strip joint, a cop is found bludgeoned to death. The weapon's a baseball bat. The motive's a mystery. It's a case of serious overkill that pushes Eve Dallas straight into overdrive. Her investigation uncovers a private club that's more than a hot spot. Purgatory's a last chance for atonement where everyone is judged. Where your ultimate fate depends on your most intimate sins. And where one cop's hidden secrets are about to plunge innocent souls into vice-ridden damnation...

Judgment in Death

Good story line with a good finish. It proves that cops are complicated people too. There are good cops and bad. It’s nice when the good cops win.

Good cop/Bad cop

Love the strength Lieutenant Eve Dallas puts into her homicide investigations. J. D. Robb always has good characters in her storylines. It was hard to put this book down until it was fully read. On to the next in this series!

Judgment in Death

An In Death book that i remember nothing about! Exciting!A cop is beaten to death in one of Roarke's clubs, though at this point i think its more shocking if something happened at a place belonging to someone elseIts a tense mystery and unfortunately Roarke has a snit and ignores Eve rather childishly, which i did not enjoy, but in this one the stakes are very high and very personal.
