What a book loved killers of a certain age but this one was brilliant. Loved all the travel and tie in to WWII . Characters wonderfully written a d the chemistry between them keeps you on your toes. Story was well written. Can't wait for another installment!
Love the characters the author has created. Wish the author would write a third book on these ladies.
I stumbled upon the first book in the series (Killers of a Certain Age) at the Library. I read it in less than two days.Then I immediately came to buy the second book, "Kills Well With Others" and it was just as addicting as the first. The plot is original, the characters are great (and hilarious) and easy to root for, and everything ties together very nicely. Adding the cat(s) and the chicken was a nice touch. All the side characters are just as fleshed out as the main characters. The intense scenes mesh well with the comedic scenes. Same with the past scenes alternating with the present. It was honestly brilliantly executed. I enjoyed every minute of Billie, Nat, Mary Alice, and Helen.I sincerely hope a third book is being considered!
I loved the first book by this author and of course I wanted to read the second book. It was really good although some of it was predictable. It’s a bit of a stretch to imagine 60 year olds doing what these ladies do! However, it’s a fun and amusing ride along with them!
Another blockbuster book sequel! I can’t wait until this is made into a movie starring the actresses from “Sex in the City” series and movies!! They would be perfect for these roles!! They have the athleticism, humor and looks! Come on Hollywood!! Wake up!! Someone please make these books into a movie or HBO series!!
