A really riveting read. A new twist on vampires. A cool new universe to get immersed in. I like the plot - and I hope I will stick it out to the end of the 4 books. I like the 2 main characters. It got spicy very early on in the book so that was enjoyable. I like the spicy scenes. The 2 main characters have great banter and yearning. I hope that Adara is not too upset with Evren throughout the next book. I cant wait for them to have a baby.
I may have to read this again later because I was not feeling this book. It may be just my doing the previous book I read was a little too similar. Nothing was bad about this book, just not my favorite.
I can’t believe I haven’t started this series sooner! This first book in Holly Renee’s Stars and Shadows series is true Romantasy perfection. It has everything I could have asked for, including all the angst and plot twist amazingness. There is still so much to learn about this world and the beautifully written characters. I cannot wait to see their layers peeled away and how they develop throughout the plot of the next books. I am still in awe of the cliffhanger and cannot wait to jump into the next part of this story.
I can't believe I waited so long to start this series! I loved Dacre, but Evren? So much better! I can't wait to devour the rest of this series!
I read this in less than 24 hours. It drew me in ridiculously quick, and I'm glad it made me drown in its darkness. As mad as the ending made me be, I am begging for more.
