I took this out of the wrapped package and for some reason I still received a banged up case of books. The back of one of the covers is completely bent and creased.
The series was fantastic, however two pages in the 3rd book are blacked out and not intentionally. I missed the return date by less than a day as I ordered 15 books at once and had just got to this one
It’s very young adult but I loved it! Once I started reading and got into the story, I didn’t want to put it down!
I would have given a 5 star review, but there were two pages that were unreadable in the final chapters of the last book in the trilogy. Other than that issue I absolutely love the series and I've found another favorite author.

Books one and two were fantastic. From the gorgeous book covers and fantastic characters and plot i was excited. I loved them they kept me hooked and wanting more. I honestly read the whole series in less than a week. Book three just fell flat for me. Details that seemed of bigger importance just weren’t talked about. Characters were not given the depth they were in the first books. I don’t know if it’s because of time for writing or because she was trying to lead into a sequel but I had higher hopes. Five stars for the first two books. Two for the third.

If you’ve read one dark window, Gothikana or anything with the vibe of dark, gloomy, mysterious enemies to lovers than this book series is for you.
The first two books had incredible pacing with palpable tension, compelling story lines, and memorable characters. The final book in the series lost its direction and drive. More of the same, nothing exciting or compelling. I struggled to finish the last book.
Absolutely worth a read. The first two books are amazing. The third isn’t terrible. Overall, one of the best series I have read.

My husband bought this set for me as a Mother's Day gift. I fell in love with this series and absolutely consumed it! It is a beautiful set, and the writing is good as well. I can't wait to read more from this author!
I really enjoyed this series went to look after reading TOTF. It's DEFINITELY NOT YA genre and needs to be moved to romance or new adult. But I love the story and the characters,plus all the spice. But definitely 18+ book 2 and on. Some scenes more graphic then ACOTAR. Will definitely look for the other wicked books coming.
Let's try this again. I read all three books of this Trilogy and give it a 4/5 overall. The first two books were good but the third wasn't great.Kingdom of the Wicked 5/5LOVE LOVE LOVE! I absolutely loved this book, the story was amazing, the details of the food cooking, the world building was amazing. The characters were to die for, I absolutely loved the raw emotion and the story that went with it. I loved the male characters a ton as well. It was an amazing start to the trilogy.Kingdom of the Cursed 5/5I loved the story in this book, the world building was just as great as the first one. The teasing of the romance was driving me bonkers. My only complaint is the main character in this book wasn't fun to read. All in all a good book.Kingdom of the Feared 3/5This book was a disappointment compared to the other two. She wraps up the romance in the first half of the book, then starts a huge storyline that should have been partly in the second book and overwhelms us with horrible physical love scenes. I felt like it was one of those scenes, a little story, then back to those scenes. It got worse as the story progressed. I still love the male characters though.
I love the complex characters and dynamic throughout the series. I especially loved the character development of Emalia. I felt that this series should of been one book though considering the same problem in book one wasn't resolved until book three. Instead of solving issues one book at a time the problems kept stacking and stacking until a final solution at the end of book three. I'm fine with it since I read all three at one but I couldn't imagine if I had to wait for book releases.
The plot was riveting. The characters truly came alive for me. My only issue is as you get further into the series there is so much spice in there and I don’t enjoy reading it so I just end up skimming through it. I don’t see how this series can be rated for 16 years olds. I would have placed it at 18+ but other than that it’s a definite yes for me.
As we follow Emilia on a journey of discovering what happened to her twin sister we are met with demons, magic, and twists. I genuinely didn't see where this story went and enjoyed it!This book definitely feels like it should be part of the New Adult genre rather than YA. I would recommend it for the age range 17+. It took me quite a while to see what all the hype was about regarding this series. I borrowed the first two books from work (librarian), and fell in love with the characters almost immediately.I felt a strong connection to Emilia, being from a Sicilian family myself, and fell in love with Wrath almost immediately. Truth be told, the second book was probably my favorite. While the third one delivered spicy scenes, it was instantly made disappointing because of certain aspects. For example, if Wrath said “my lady” one more time, I was going to scream. It was so cringy and overused. I enjoyed when he called her “Emilia,” or even a sweet “‘Em,” would have done the job. This “my lady” was ad nauseum and really made the story annoying.Emilia was a good protagonist, but after a while her refusal to accept the truth, after everything her “family” put her through, became insufferable. I get that she didn’t want to become a cold-hearted monster after having such humanity, but honestly, grow up and accept what is and what isn’t.Also, while I’m fine with happy endings, I hate Hallmark-y dialogue and situations. All of a sudden everyone plays nice and it’s sweet and flowery. No thank you. I am more into endings that turn out well, but aren’t drenched in over-the-top niceties.Overall, this series was very entertaining and I would certainly recommend giving it a shot.
