Excellent

I absolutley love The Twilight Saga. After seeing the movies and loving them, I started to listen to the audiobooks and quickly decided I needed the series to read. I particularly loved Edward's point of view. The books have so much more detail that add tons of color to the story.

Different in Many Ways from Twilight …A Different Perspective to the Bella and Edward Saga

I wasn’t sure what this book was going to be like, but other than being overly thick and hard to hold, the story itself is an interesting and a different perspective of Bella and Edward’s meeting and relationship…his attitude was more feral than In the Twilight series. Worth the read!!!

Se nota su uso, pero buen estado

Llegó sin protección alguna, sólo dentro de una bolsa de papel. Tienen una esquina doblada, y la portada se nota que ha tenido su uso, pero el libro sigue siendo legible y está dentro del rango de buen estado.

Interesting new spin

I am a Twihard. There, I said it. I loved the twilight books and movies and read them repeatedly. I never read midnight sun though, but recently I realized it's been years since I read the books and was delighted to find a new spin on the orginals. It's retold from Edward's perspective and gives some different insight to situations that were told from Bella perspective. Enjoying my new read!

Another great read, this book did nothing less than what I expect it would. It roped me in, and it was a quick read. The shipping was also fast which I enjoyed.

captivating and immersive retelling of the beloved "Twilight" saga, told from Edward

"Midnight Sun" by Stephenie Meyer is a captivating and immersive retelling of the beloved "Twilight" saga, told from Edward Cullen's perspective. For fans of the original series, this novel offers a fresh lens through which to experience the intense romance and supernatural intrigue of the story.Meyer’s prose is as evocative as ever, delving deep into Edward's thoughts, emotions, and struggles. Readers are treated to a rich exploration of his internal conflicts, particularly regarding his desire for Bella and the dangers that come with it. The narrative provides a profound insight into Edward's character, revealing his fears, insecurities, and the moral dilemmas he faces as a vampire in love with a human. One of the highlights of "Midnight Sun" is the way it fleshes out the backstory of various characters, enriching the overall world-building of the Twilight universe. We gain a deeper understanding of the Cullen family dynamics, and characters like Alice and Jasper are given more nuanced roles. The novel also adds layers of tension and suspense, particularly in scenes that were only hinted at in the original series. However, some readers may find that the pacing drags at times, as the detailed introspection can slow the narrative down. While this depth can be engaging, it may not appeal to those who prefer a quicker, action-driven plot.Overall, "Midnight Sun" is a nostalgic return to a world that many readers cherish, offering new insights and a deeper emotional connection to the characters. Whether you are a die-hard fan of the original series or a newcomer, this book is an engaging read that captures the magic and complexity of first love, set against a backdrop of supernatural challenges.

Perspective from the other side.

I am one of those who like to know the other side. While I'm reading or watching a movie I always wonder what the others are doing or what their thoughts were. So I really enjoyed Edwards side of the story.

I’m a known twihard rat so…

I’ve been a twilight girlie since middle school, but I shockingly never read Midnight Sun (I got old and busy) well my book club was doing a Buddy read of the series (some of them had never read it and some it was a reread) so I decided to do the tandem read of Twilight and Midnight Sun. The little rat in me loved every second of it.

Eh dward

I grew up reading and loving the twilight series. I was such a huge fan and I made it my entire personality throughout middle school lol. That being said, I read Midnight Sun when it came out and now that I’m older- there’s just some things that really annoy me about the characters. It’s nice that this is through Edwards point of view but good lord is he moody and bleak. He’s so whiny and “I hate everything”. Also- why aren’t any of the teachers concerned about Edward constantly skipping class? These highschoolers just skip class or sit out in their car in the parking lot and it’s just so weird to me because I wouldn’t have been allowed to do that. Just some food for thought

Definitely worth reading!

This book is amazing. Right from the start it hooks you in and keeps you wanting to read more. I enjoyed reading the perspective of Edward in his interactions with Bella. This book is his side or the Twilight book (Bella version). I found his version honestly more entertaining. Although it is the "same" story you truly dont feel like it is. I would highly recommend to read if you enjoyed the Twilight series. I have now read this book twice and wish that the Author made Edward versions to each book made in the Twilight series. I feel that reading his version and her version completes the story. From what i read, the author isnt going to write another book in Edward's perspective. Stinky!

The same book through new eyes

(No spoilers) I was young when the saga first came out and this was a blast from the past. It was such a nostalgic feeling to read it through new eyes, with respect to both mine and the main character. I found Edwards POV preferable. While I understand the reasons behind the author not finishing the series in his POV, I’m a bit bummed. Other reviews comment on his lengthy internal monologue. While they’re entirely correct, the format didn’t disrupt my following of the story. It’s also worth mentioning that they’re essentially the only reason the book was possible. Without them, it’s the same book as twilight. It also casts a new light Edwards thoughts and actions through the rest of the saga. Overall, an enjoyable return to (guilty) pleasure reading for someone who’s turned mostly to non-fiction as an adult.
