So the fact that I bought the first 6 books us a benefit also the quality was superb nothing like the quality of jump the covers were thick and the paper was a good width it was like it had a thin layer of plastic over it
Can't go wrong with this series
Mob truly gets me right in the gut. I love this series to death and it pains me to see how this translation is being botched. The characters in this series are not "superhumans" with "superpowers", they are ESPERS with PSYCHIC POWERS. How hard is that? It has already been translated multiple times officially in the anime and by multiple unofficial translations of the entire manga. Why is this happening? Is the translator just trying to be different? It is so painful to see how slowly this is being released in English then the manga has been complete for years, and with such weird and unnecessary translations. All the work is done for them already. They are spitting in the face of ONE and forcing English-speaking fans to wait for physical copies. With how long it's taking it might be YEARS before all of the volumes are printed. So many other translations in other languages are done already, why is this series being shoved in the basement with no love? I have this man's art permanently etched into my skin, all I want is to be able to give these people my money for physical copies that have the actual effort put into translation.
Looking for Mob, Reigen arrives at Claw headquarters -- and things turn unexpectedly humorous. (Although author One has cheated a little, and for this to work the reader has to ignore the next-to-last page of MOB 5.) And then things turn just ... unexpected. Contrary to the blurb above (who writes these things?), Mob does NOT "explode"; One comes up with an ingeniously entertaining way for our characters to extricate themselves from the situation. Some of Claw's secrets are revealed, and new puzzles dangled before us. When things return to normal in the last chapters of this book, it does feel a bit anticlimactic, but I'll still be awaiting MOB 7 with interest.
