Pure magic, the historia comes to life, with the smells and tastes so common to us who live in the pages of this marvelous historia. Muchas gracias isabel
Well written, A must read! Isabelle Allende has quite the talent of developing exciting stories! A must read! I have read all of her novels? I am a fan!
No me agradó el refuerzo de la carátulo.
All the extremes were reached! A woman's experience in a world of unknown. Love and humanity kept her alive and going. Beautiful writing! Meaningful use of words to encompass the reality of a human existence in a world that reminds a lot the one we live in.
Beautifully written book, but I will mention that there are a lot of descriptions of a very nasty war in Chile in the 1800s. I could have done without that. It’s pretty brutal, and if I would’ve known that, I would not have bought this book, but she is such a good writer that I plowed through it.
