The Greek Mythology girl to Romance obsessed woman is so real. These books are super fun. (Spoiler) Pomegranate as her safe word made me squeal.
This modern day retelling of Hades & Persephone was exactly what I wanted it to be & more. Hades was dark, mysterous & such a teddy bear for Persephone. He was dominant & just 🥵🥴. Persephone grew on me & I loved her . Her curiosity & genuineus was needed . She was strong & did everything she could to protect herself & sisters. Them together 🥴 please I want more.THE THRONE?? I need one yesterday. Iykyk. The Spice had me clenching my pearls. Idk what it was but just know if I pop out pregnant, this book was the one 🥴🤣.I loved how the story line, the plot & smut all went well together ❤️.Side note Demeter pissed me off for 300+ pages in the end I still hate her just a little less. I loved all three sisters btw.Highly recommend!! Im ready for the rest of the books 🤧.
Definitely a great read. I was recommended it by a friend. Definitely has spice that I enjoyed and getting to see the man fall head over heels for the lady was surprising and really hooked me. I don't usually get to see that in detail in a romance book, it's usually a girl doing the falling head over heels.
Love a good Hades and Persephone story but this was an excellent modernizing while still capturing the classical bits that make the story great. Spice was great and loved the bits of humor!
They have the Greek god names but none of the powers and it’s more of an election thing but also an heir thing. The whole premises of the city was confusing. I wish the author would have put more into describing the premises of the dynamic but it felt rushed.Hades and Persephone love dynamic was fine, nothing really mind blowing, sort of basic.
