Help Wanted: Grumpy mountain man seeks baby momma. Job is an incubator position only. Surrogate must be impervious to grunting as the form of communication and nosy brotherly neighbors. Rustic mountain range housing available upon request.
I wanted to pummel my irritating brothers when they posted their own version of a wanted ad to help me with my life.
But I can't fault the results once the right woman lands in my lap.
Becoming a single father is not a decision I made lightly. In fact, it's the biggest decision of my entire life.
Which is why when I interview Trista, I know she's perfect.
She's wild, she's opinionated, she wears cowboy boots. Even my pet goat loves her...
She's the exact type of person I was holding out for.
And to my great horror, I realize on our first night of attempting this baby-making dance--when the lights are low, the cheap wine is flowing and the home-insemination supplies are laid out on the kitchen counter--I want to do a lot more than just make her my surrogate.
I want to make her mine.

This is such a fun romance set in a small mountain town with Wyatt and Trista. He is a single guy desperately wanting to be a dad so he's looking for a surrogate, and she's pursuing the surrogacy process for her own personal reasons. Introduce his meddling family and let the shenanigans begin!Wyatt and Trista are the epitome of grumpy vs sunshine, and the hilarity starts at their very first meeting. The witty banter between them only gets better, especially when his brothers join in, and their opposite personalities complement each other in the best way. An introvert who becomes protective paired with someone whose independent and loves to talk. What could go wrong...or right? π Itβs a treat to watch them build a friendship and then get even closer while navigating their unusual situation. It's a must read with humor, delicious spice, unexpected romance, and a few barn animals in the mix.Teddy Hamilton and Erin Mallon did a marvelous job of translating the authors words into the perfect voices for Wyatt and Trista. We heard Wyatt's quiet and grumpy tendencies come through in Teddy's gruff voice that became a little softer and warm as he became a more protective MMC. And Erin is the perfect Trista who is bubbly and sweet and calms Wyatt, but also calls him out when he needs it. Outstanding narration!
My first read from this author. I like her style of writing. I like the plot and the spice.
I loved this soooo much! It was soooo funny and emotional! I was laughing and crying! I could not get enough! Amy Daws wrote such a great story with characters I love! The voice actors did an amazing job! I highly recommend!

The majority of this book is so great. Really enjoyed the plot and spice but the ending feels so rushed and left me a little unsatisfied. Fingers crossed the second book in the series shares more of this coupleβs story.
