This was another riveting novel. I'm glad Joe has a friend named Nate. I like how the author includes the game warden's family in the stories. What's going to happen with April? I don't know. I guess I'll have to read the next novel.
I'm always excited to start reading a Joe Pickett story. Joe was put through the wringer in this one. C. J. Box is the best.
A good story that is well written and enjoyable to read. It's a sad story of two brothers who meet with a sad fate. It will be interesting to see how the ending of this book changes the characters in future episodes.
This book is one of the Main plot lines of season 2. I enjoy the tv show ending more than this books ending; for the sole reason the book ending made me almost cry. C.J Box does an amazing job of writing this book and explaining a lot of what Americans are feeling right now. This is a great book and I recommend it, just a sad ending that I wish wasn’t how it ended.
Husband really enjoyed this series.
