Problematic Summer Romance

I loved this one! The banter between Conor and Maya was hilarious. There were so many Laugh out loud moments! I loved how their story evolved throughout the book. And I loved all the flashback moments showing the history of their relationship.The descriptions that Ali uses to describe Italy and the everything was so perfect.This one helped me start to crawl my way out of this book slump that I'm in. I love Maya!! My girl is so spunky and sweet and honestly love her banter with Conor! He’s so grumpy, I was SAT!! Literal heart eyes every time they were in the same scene. Honestly first book by Ali and I don’t know if anything else compares. It wasn’t a life changing story but it was honestly soooo heartwarming and now im booking a flight to Sicily for pasta making classes 💗🤩

Ali Hazelwood is one of my all-time favorite authors. I buy her books sight unseen, regardless of premise, because I can trust her to deliver steamy, standalone, heartfelt, happily-ever-afters. Plus, I learn interesting new-to-me facts along the journey.Problematic Summer Romance is no exception. Maya and Conor’s HEA is a beautiful, believable, masterfully-crafted tale full of heart, heat and charm. Witty characters, accidental poisonings, a possibly cursed wedding, fun family chaos, Sicilian adventures, and so much more. I loved every minute of it.

However, Conor and Maya intrigued me so much, their friendship was so evident and clear, and I needed to know more.I love all the crossovers with Ali’s other books, and deep end being top tier for me I was living the Scarlett and Lukas drop in.I love an age gap, especially an age gap where the yearning is equal on both parts, I loved seeing Conor lose his mind over Maya, and watching Maya tease him like no other.For them it was always the right person, wrong time, and when they finally, more so Conor, give into it, I was screaming!! Maya and Conor’s relationship is not an easy one. There is a history to them that has many roadblocks and problems-some of their own making. Ali Hazelwood is a master of being able to weave a story with such depth, with pulls and turns, that I just held on for the ride. I could not put this book down and stayed up into the early morning to finish it!
