“An epic story of redemption, discovery and cool speculative sci-fi.”—
USA Today

“If you loved
The Martian, you’ll go crazy for Weir’s latest.”—The Washington Post

Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission—and if he fails, humanity and the earth itself will perish.

Except that right now, he doesn’t know that. He can’t even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it.

All he knows is that he’s been asleep for a very, very long time. And he’s just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

His crewmates dead, his memories fuzzily returning, Ryland realizes that an impossible task now confronts him. Hurtling through space on this tiny ship, it’s up to him to puzzle out an impossible scientific mystery—and conquer an extinction-level threat to our species.

And with the clock ticking down and the nearest human being light-years away, he’s got to do it all alone.

Or does he?

An irresistible interstellar adventure as only Andy Weir could deliver,
Project Hail Mary is a tale of discovery, speculation, and survival to rival The Martian—while taking us to places it never dreamed of going.

what a writer!

Wow, what a well written, very unique novel. Andy Weir touches on over 100 different questions, each of which could be the basis for its own novel.Exceptionally well written, I easily immersed myself in it, and rushed to finish it, too soon, unfortunately, I accomplished my task.Like Andy Weir, I read science fiction for years as a young adult. I suspect he has accomplished a share dream, by becoming an internationally known sci-fi writer who will be read, and referred to for centuries.

A great read

Is a great interpretation of space exploration and human willingness To survive any adversities. The 1 thing I would have said that Andy could have been done better is the transitions between the present and the past, The transition felt a little abrupt between the timelines. Overall it was an excellent read and I'll definitely recommend this book to anybody, Especially someone that loves Sci-fi.

Must read!

What would happen on Earth if we knew the sun was dying? Space traveler, Grace, gets to find out. He works with another he meets in apace in the same circumstance. I don't want to give away too much. You should let it unfold as you read.

What an “Amaze” book!! 9.9/10

This book is absolutely fantastic. It doesn’t really pull you in untill about chapter 7. After that it’s such a fun/fast read. My only complaint is that the book ended. It was such a great story that I didn’t want it to end
