When NYPSD to homicide detective, Eve Dallas, is called to a possible murder, she has no idea what it'll lead to - more murders, possibly dirty cops, and an old enemy that she put away previously. It's a tough case, but Dallas never stops until she puts together all the clues and finds the ones that do the evil deeds.Excellent book in a top-notch series.

Probably the best in this series--and there will be 60 of them come February 2025--because it shows Eve Dallas' heart and soul. I haven't liked each of the In Death books; I adored this one.

Started reading years ago. And now in 2023 I'm reading them all again. Rob's character Eve Dallas had me laughing around 70 to 75% into this book. Eve is smart when solving murders but has no clue about every day thing such as buying a shower gift. I read all morning because this book had me hooked. Goid read!!
