Finished both books in about 3 days, idk I love them! And I cried lol. But they are also a frustrating pair. Talk about enemies to lovers! This is textbook
I love this story! I love that thereβs very little delay to getting to the action. I do think the ending was a bit hasty - like all the conflicts resolved rather quickly, a little too quickly - but nonetheless this book was intriguing, easy-to-read, and suspenseful. *spoiler* Seeing Gideon and Rune find each other, choose each other, again and again was *chefs kiss* amazing!
While there was a bit of repetition throughout the book. I immensely enjoyed reading this romantasy. The enemies to lovers continues and the magic felt less corny in the second book.
This is probably the best series I have read all year. I originally chose this book because kindle recommended it for their reading challenge as itβs not my usual choice but; this series IS WORRH IT!!! Witch hunter and witch team up to stop an evil witch queen and an evil commander in hopes for a better world and end up falling in love!!! Yes yes and yes
I devoured this. I waited for a while before finishing this series because I didnβt know if the second book could be any better than the first and I didnβt want to get disappointed. Surprise though? No disappointment. This was everything Iβd hoped it would be. The ending felt a bit rushed for sure, but I wasnβt enraged about it. If you loved Heartless Hunter, definitely read Rebel Witch. Itβs a worthy conclusion to The Crimson Moth series.
