Belladonna Blackthorn hasn't lost her magical spark, precisely . . . but she hasn't seen it in a while either.
With her witchcraft under wraps and a toxic boss making her days miserable, Belle is struggling to keep her beloved Lunar Books afloat and just make it through the day. The last thing she has time for is perfecting her magic.
So when her thirtieth birthday brings a summons from her coven and a trial that tests her worthiness as a witch, Belle fears the worst. With only the month of October left to prove herself or risk losing her magic forever, Belle will need all the help she can get--from the women in her life, from an unlikely mentor figure and even from an infuriating coven watchman who's sworn to protect her...

The book arrived in perfect condition. And to my surprise, I received a signed copy. I wasn't expecting that! Thank you!
Rewitched is the first in a cozy mystery, fantasy series by Lucy Jane Wood. Belle Blackthorn is a witch who has been hiding her abilities while working at Lunar Books, all while trying to save it from ruin by her incapable, incorrigible boss. Her thirtieth birthday brings an unexpected summons from her coven to prove her abilities and worth as a witch, or risk losing her magic forever. She turns to her friends, a mentor, and the one sworn to protect her. This autumnal read has romance, friendship, found family and self-discovery. It is atmospheric, charming, cozy and a delight to read. I look forward to the next in the series!
This was a cute and quick read! Fast-paced, fleshed out characters, and a really unique plotline and story, I enjoyed reading this in the morning with my coffee or tea. I only wish I had read it in Fall, because that's what this book feels like: Autumn, from the rich reds and yellows of the changing leaves, to the spiced cinnamon whatever-hot-drink being served.Overall, worth a read!
If you need a cute and cozy mystery this is perfect! Follow a witch as she finds herself and her powers along with love and family!
I enjoyed this book from beginning to end. A cozy read.
