This volume was a mix of quirky and serious notes. Not only do we get to learn new characters, but also we get to learn more about our minor characters. I love this so much !This volume finished an arc from the previous volume, so it threw me off a loop when I started it. But that was awesome.I really like that we're slowly getting into some history of the war, and I wish they'll continue to add more.
The manga came in great condition. No bends, tears or rips. Printed just fine. (Also just a wonderful series that’s funny and good character building)!

after reading the end of the 12th volume i was extremely excited for the 13th, however, it wasn't what i was expecting. (WARNING SPOILERS) the 12th volume is extremely high quality with the ending being the bad guy about to take off loid forger's mask. in the beginning of the 13th it starts right where it left off which i liked, sometimes in books when a big scene happens they just prolong the inevitable which annoys me. it feels like when they do that they're just trying to make the series longer aka get more money. anyways, the 13th doesn't do that. it starts with the bad guy about to pull loid forger's mask, and nightfall (fiona frost) is flabbergasted, just standing there. she doesn't take a step forward because the bad guy said that he'd harm him if she did. he tells her to put down her gun and she does. she actually threw it down then stomped on it with her foot with made me laugh a little bit because it was such a dramatic stomp. then he's like, "oh, you shouldn't have ties with people in this kind of work", if i recall i think he roasts him then she gets mad cuz she "lOvEs HiM" then because of the "PoWeR oF lOvE" she saves him. wow. that resolved in TWO FRICKIN' PAGES WOWOWOWOWO! EVEN THE MOST POWERFUL SPY IN THE WHOLE UNIVERSE COULDN'T DEFEAT HIM (well, he was injured ig) BUT NIGHTFALL COULD BECAUSE OF THE POWER OF LOOOVE! WOW! GREAT WRITING! the rest of the book was just downright boring. damian gives anya her cake (mildly interesting), we learn a bit about millie (yor's coworker) which was, like... why? just why? ok, well now we know that millie's dad died in the war. wowie, who cares? there was a plot with yuri but it was so boring that i forgot it immediately. we learn about the older couple that moves in next door that loid thinks is part of an operation. then finally it ends with anya finishing her exam which determines where she stands in the pool of smart people which is interesting B-BUT THAT'S ONE INTERESTING THING IN A PILE OF BORING FILLER! if you're someone who collects the book series like me i would still get it just because but if your hoping for a high quality, interesting, mind-blowing book, this is not it.
