A National Bestseller

The final installment in the most lauded trilogy in the history of horror novels picks up four years after Don't Fear the Reaper as Jade returns to Proofrock, Idaho, to build a life after the years of sacrifice--only to find the Lake Witch is waiting for her in New York Times bestselling author Stephen Graham Jones's finale.

It's been four years in prison since Jade Daniels last saw her hometown of Proofrock, Idaho, the day she took the fall, protecting her friend Letha and her family from incrimination. Since then, her reputation, and the town, have changed dramatically. There's a lot of unfinished business in Proofrock, from serial killer cultists to the rich trying to buy Western authenticity. But there's one aspect of Proofrock no one wants to confront...until Jade comes back to town. The curse of the Lake Witch is waiting, and now is the time for the final stand.

New York Times bestselling author Stephen Graham Jones has crafted an epic horror trilogy of generational trauma from the Indigenous to the townies rooted in the mountains of Idaho. It is a story of the American west written in blood.

the final chapter

This book was a fantastic end to the trilogy. It has been a long time since a group of books has made me want to keep reading. I would love to know what happens to Jade and Letha in the future. Amazing book. I’m giving nothing away. Just read it. Read all of them. Jones delivers again!

Slow start but bloody good ending.

I enjoyed the first two books alot. I found this one only got going 3/4 the way into it and finally felt like I was reading a Indian lake book. 5he writing felt a little off compared to the previous books and characters seem scattered and there's some weird character progression and decisions - wasn't sure why they were doing certain things. That being said I enjoyed the book and the ending made up for the other 3/4the of the book and though this is the last in the trilogy I hope the author revisits the series.

Good, maybe you'll understand it better but def fun for.horror fans

Good, strange, odd and hard to follow in my opinion. Sometimes I had no idea what was going on and I still dont understand what happened in this book or the entire series. The horror and slasher aspect of it was done very well but again hard to follow. FOR ME!!

Amazing conclusion

Last book in the trilogy. The author says this is the FINAL book, but I hope not. If you like Steven King, you're gonna love Stephen Graham!! Read the trilogy in order!!
