Wow wow wow this series has become all consuming. Raihn and Oraya are so end game it hurts. Love them forever.
Full of so much action from fighting and character development, passion from love and other emotions, and suspense from unveiled mysteries and secrets to fights with unknown outcomes to the unfurling of emotions between characters! Highly recommend!!!!
I really enjoyed this book and the first and about to start the third and final one of the series. I enjoy the style Carissa used and the strength she gives her female characters. I enjoyed the storyline and the action packed scenes as well as the drama behind the scenes. Just a great read overall!
I absolutely LOVED book 1. This book fell short to me. Book 1 Oraya was a badass human surviving amongst vampires. She was brutally betrayed. I was expecting Oraya to extract revenge and be her killer self, but she barely made a move on Raihn. I did like that she learned about her family and came into her power. I found the book a little repetitive. I enjoyed the book, but it wasn’t as good as the first one. 3.5⭐️
So I was not impressed with the first book or six scorched roses but this one ,,,, finally something worth the read. This one I couldn’t put down and enjoyed. It moved much smoother and faster, where the previous books did not for me. I’m hoping the next 2 are as good as this one. Time will tell.
