The Housemaid's Secret

I couldn’t put this book down! The Housemaid’s Secret grabs you from the first few pages and keeps the suspense building all the way through. Freida McFadden does a great job of throwing in just enough clues to keep you guessing, but still manages to surprise you with every twist.The pacing is perfect—short chapters, quick scenes, and no dull moments. I flew through it in a couple of sittings. The main character is easy to root for, and even though some of the situations are wild, they’re written in a way that makes you want to see how it all plays out.If you enjoy psychological thrillers with secrets, lies, and jaw-dropping reveals, this one is a must-read. I’d definitely recommend it to fans of The Housemaid or anyone who loves a good binge-worthy thriller.

Keeps you reading.. was shock with the end.So far a good story line.Millie is like an underdog in the book.

Her books will keep you in your seat!Great series to read. Look for her other series, just as good.

This series is definitely one of my favorites. I cannot believe how easily I finished these books, because I get sucked into the world.

Book two was hard to get into. It’s not till half way though the book does it start to get good.. the endings of these books are crazy and worth the read!

I enjoy these Housemaid books and the escape they provide. The characters are consistent and can follow from one book to the next. It becomes like watching a series ir movie in my head. I wonder what is happening in the next episode when I have to put the book down.

Kinda weird how all the sudden she was mad at Brock when she lied the entire relationship and was like damn he’s not here for me when I need him the most??This was a decent read I liked it but her and Brock was a waste of story line and Enzo coming back randomly and them being in love was weird too but whatever lol still enjoyed

I was predictable that Millie will be involved to another crime scene. Even she was set up as a suspect in the case which the readers will see in the later chapter. What I didn't expect is that there's such plot twist. That was a lot behind a scene. And I loved it. I hope Millie will find her peace with her past.

Usually the second book is not nearly as good as the first one. However, The Housemaid’s Secret was very thrilling, and impressed me with how captivating the story line was!

I read the first book The Housemaid and finished it in 3 days. I decided to buy the other two books in the series. This book arrived on 06/02, I started reading it on 06/08 and finished it tonight (13th). I can’t wait to finish typing this review so that I can start the third book :)

This was a very good book. Very intriguing with twists you don't expect. Couldn't put it down. I believe this book is#3 in the series of The Housemaid. I don't have it right this moment, so I cannot look to be sure.

I read the first book and really enjoyed the twist it took. The second book was the same starts out predictable and then takes a shift that you didn’t see coming.

Once again, I was not disappointed… except that I figured out a couple of things long before they were revealed. Still, the writing is excellent and the characters believable.On to book 3!

If crime scene shows are your guilty pleasure, then this author is for you. Normally, I can see the twists coming before they get there, but she has fooled me a couple of times.

I enjoy the pacing of these books! The author gets right to it and keeps you engaged in the unfolding mystery. I will say, the main female character is sometimes unbelievably naive and gullible - for someone that spend 10 years in a penitentiary… Millie is awfully trusting of strangers. Other than that, I’ve enjoyed books one & two and 100% plan on reading the third book!(:

I absolutely love this writer! Their books are so captivating that I’m always on the edge of my seat. Once I start, I can’t put it down—and I’ve been reading two a week! The Maid series is one of my favorites; I just can’t get enough of it. I’m already eagerly waiting for the next one to come out. Highly recommend if you're looking for a thrilling, can't-miss read. So in the past few days I have finished the first two Housemaid’s books by Freida McFadden and BOTH were fantastic. Each time it seems our heroine is about to go down she either finds a way out of the noose or circumstance change in her favor. Why wouldn’t they… she is after all a savior of women who need saving. Such a good quick read. Off to devour the next McFadden suspenseful thriller.

Hold up! Oh hi, I just got done with a mind blowing book. I was thinking who it might have been but omg I am so very very glad it wasn’t who I thought it was. But man oh man can McFadden write suspenseful thrillers. Ya’ll should check out this series and some of her other books. I can say after three books I have read from her I am now a McFadden fan. I’m going to finish this series and read more her books and hope she keeps writing more.

This is the third book I have read by Frieda. I couldn't put this book down. I do love the way the author throws these twists around and keeps you second guessing yourself trying to figure out who did what. As always Enzo is my favorite and he definitely knows a guy for everything. Millie always has a back up plan in her pocket on case anything goes wrong. Good read highly recommend

She she did it again! I will not give any spoiler alerts other than to say this story is about a super rich man who has a sick wife but something seems off about their relationship. When cleaning lady and cook Millie goes to work for them she knows she wants to help but doesn't know how. I honestly can't believe how things turned out. Excellent job Ms Freida, excellent job. Fantastic read. No need to have read the first one in order to read this one. It stands perfectly on its own. Highly recommend!
