Four strangers time travel to the past and find themselves stuck on the day all their lives were changed in this stunning speculative mystery from award-winning film and television producer Dete Meserve, perfect for fans of Before the Coffee Gets Cold, Wrong Place Wrong Time and The Paradox Hotel.
What would you do if you could spend an hour in your past? Four strangers in the beach town of Ventura, California are about to find out.
Elizabeth aches for one more precious hour with her son who died in a senseless accident. Andy is desperate to find his first love who vanished after a whirlwind romance. Logan craves the rush of surfing and mountain climbing, yearning to reclaim the freedom he lost after a misstep landed him in a wheelchair. Brooke is looking for an hour of relief from the guilt of an unforgivable mistake.
Enter Aeon Expeditions, the groundbreaking time travel invention of Mark Saunders--which allows some lucky clients the chance to spend an hour in their past. Even though Aeon's technology ensures time travel can't alter the future, all four clients, including Mark's ex-wife Elizabeth, yearn to revisit the hour that changed their lives forever.
But when their "hour" extends beyond sixty minutes, they find themselves stranded in the past. As their paths intertwine unexpectedly, they unearth shocking secrets hidden in the shadows of their shared history: All their lives were shattered the same night on a secluded highway by the beach. As they delve into the hidden truths of that pivotal hour, a startling revelation emerges. They were not alone. Someone else was present, harboring deadly intentions.
The Memory Collectors is a heart-wrenching, genre-bending novel brimming with hope, grief and second chances.

The Memory Collectors⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️Dete MeserveI love a book that draws me in quickly and this one did! Pretty much from the first page I was intrigued. This book is in sections Part 1, 2 and 3. For me, Part 2 was a little slower and had a bit more about some characters that I think could’ve been shortened just a bit and in Part 3 without giving any spoilers the reappearance of a female character seemed a bit unbelievable and I think it could’ve been done differently with more impact and I would’ve liked a bit more on some of the other main characters or perhaps if there had been an epilogue. But overall this was a very solid read about time travel and second chances and I would’ve liked highly recommend!
We received this product and it was damaged. Was hoping to purchase a new book, but it had scratches in the pages and was obviously used as it still had a bookmark left in the pages. If we knew we were purchasing a used book we would not expect to pay over full price for it. Highly disappointed.
I’m a big fan of time travel books - as I love the timeless series. This book was exciting, emotional, and engaging! I loved seeing what each characters motivations were to go back in time and how everything interconnected! They really felt like real people and it made the story seem so real! Would highly recommend for bookclubs because there are a lot of things to discuss!Mystery / Sci-FiMultiple POVTime travelThought-provokingCharacter Driven
I found it a little hard to follow because the book consists of a number chapters each told from one of a half dozen or so different character's point of view concerning the same incident. Otherwise it's a novel (in the unique sense), enjoyable, story.
If you could go back and relive one hour of your past, would you? What part would you choose?Elizabeth, Andy, Logan, and Brooke all want to do this and travel back to a part of their past. They all have different reasons, and events, they want to relive, and they apply to be part of this new travel invention that allows participants to time travel to the past. But what happens when the hour is up and they are still stuck in the past? What will they find out? What will happen to them?I thought the topic of this novel was very interesting, and it got me thinking about whether I would ever want to time travel if I was able to. I also enjoyed how the characters’ stories were intertwined throughout the novel.
