Holly Gibney emerges as a standout character, evolving significantly throughout the series. Her intelligence, resourcefulness, and unique approach to problem-solving provide a fresh perspective . Her and Detective Anderson’s storyline were both well written

I have absolutely no idea how someone could be so good at one thing for so many years but this book is literally just as amazing as his earlier works. Two thumbs up!!

The story was one I didn’t want to put down! The characters were introduced in a logical way so that you did not lose who they were and why they were involved! Thanks Mr.King!

I have always been a fan of Stephen King and I find this book an exceptional read. King has done a great job grabbing my attention, holding my interest and making me want more! Can't wait for the next one!!!

Oh, just a gripping police procedural that gradually turns more bewildering, until it becomes completely and irrevocably paradoxical, because the pieces absolutely will not fit together, and either answer is impossible. THEN, halfway through the book, the plot takes a left-handed corkscrew turn to resolve that dilemma with an answer too horrifying to accept. Can the detectives fight an evil in which they cannot believe?
