Till death do us part. Yours. Not Mine.
It's been eleven years since high-powered attorney Sarah Morgan defended her husband, Adam, against the charge of murdering his mistress. Sarah has long since moved on, starting a family with her new husband, Bob Miller, and changing careers. Her life is back to being exactly how she always wanted ... or is it?
After discovering Bob engaged in a one-night stand, Sarah wastes no time filing for divorce. However, amid their ugly separation, new DNA evidence is uncovered in the case against Adam, forcing the police to reopen the investigation and putting Sarah right back in the spotlight. Everyone wants to know what really happened, most of all former deputy Marcus Hudson, who is hell-bent on finding the truth.
But when the woman Bob slept with is reported missing, he and Sarah start to fight dirty, and a high-stakes game of cat and mouse ensues. Filled with page-turning suspense and Jeneva Rose's signature twists and turns, this book will have readers wondering, Can Bob and Sarah achieve the perfect divorce? Or will it be "till death do us part"?

I did expect worst in this Part 2 so I read this book lightly and slowly. Another great read!I did not believe that Bob would have killed Sarah, after reading that chapter. I was laughing out loud until I finally hit the other chapter to see it was all a lie
Sarah Morgan is back…this time on the course of a divorce from Bob, the man she married after the death of Adam. Bob is not perfect and knows the secrets of Sarah’s life with Adam. The Perfect Divorce is anything but “perfect”…such a delicious and captivating read…I couldn’t put it down. Can’t wait to see Sarah Morgan in the next novel!! Well Done, Jeneva Rose!!
You think you know the plot from the first book but then the plot thickens. Who’s the girl in the basement, Bob is losing his mind and what about Sarah? The last 30 pages will blow your mind, I love a plot twist. Can a person be good and evil, read this book to find out!!!
Honestly I loved it just as much as the first. Toward the end I really didn’t know where it was gonna go and I’m so happy it happy me on my toes with twists and turns!!! Absolutely loved this and can’t wait for the next one!!!

**TEENY SPOILER BUT NOT FOR THIS BOOK**Jeneva knocks it out of the park AGAIN!!! However, much like Sarah Morgan, I too hate loose ends, so I NEED to know: Jeneva, WHAT ABOUT SCOTT?!?! Reading the acknowledgments to the end gave me *some* peace in that (SPOILER) “Sarah’s story isn’t over…” So I’m hoping we get more answers in that department! The twists, the puzzle pieces all falling into place at the end, Eleanor Rumple (b!tch)… Just, READ IT! Seriously, if you’d haven’t read The Perfect Marriage or this one, The Perfect Divorce, do it, and do it now (but in order of course). Much like my other favorite thriller author, Freida McFadden, I have yet to read something by Jeneva that I didn’t absolutely LOVE! 10/10And I know Sarah is supposed to be this cold-hearted, “evil” person, and yet, I root for her every dang time. No shame. I mean, in the words of Anne, “Why are men?” Not to mention, one of my favorite chorus lines, “He had it coming, he had it coming… He only had himself to blame… If you'd have been there, if you'd have seen it… I betcha you would have done the same!” Like, I’m sorry, but how can you NOT be Team Sarah?? She truly is a survivor, and she and Summer must be protected at all costs.

I don’t usually find sequels to be as good or better but this one was great! Sarah is back and she’s definitely got a chip on her shoulder.
A tangled web of twists and turns as a female lawyer ensnares her latest husband in her murderous lifestyle. She gets away with murder more than once because she is smart and devious enough to make fools of the police and every one else. Very well written page turner for mystery and thriller readers. New author for me but will add to library.
This book was the second one of Jeneva Rose’s books I read. The perfect marriage was pretty great but this was even better. Some books that I have read have too many twists and turns and I get to the end not even able to keep up. But this book was absolutely perfect! So many twists and turns and just as you think you have it figured out it changes again. This book did not disappoint. I very highly recommend.
More complex and twisty than I expected originally… good plot… well-done except for the author’s overuse of the line “she or he” pulled her/his lips in! So annoying and used throughout the book!
This is the second book about Sarah Morgan so if you’re just discovering her, please buy and read the Perfect Marriage first - that makes this read even better! I know saying ‘I just could not put this book down’ is a bit cliche, but trust me - you won’t be able to put it down!!! It’s a great read that will have you on the edge of your seat and guessing until the last second - buy this book, you will not regret it!!!! Thrills and suspense abound!!!!
Really good! A great second to The Perfect Marriage. It takes place 12 years after, but read it closely in conjunction with the perfect marriage to not miss anything about the original plot/characters. Even when I thought I had who dunnit, I was wrong. It's a quick read that you don't really want to put down because you just NEED to know who did it, how, and why.
I couldn't put this book down & it's been awhile since I felt like reading a book in 1 sitting. J. Rose always has a great twisted story I can't get enough of Sarah Morgan. I knew this wouldn't be her last book! Sarah is the Devil you love to hate lol this main character is so diabolical but you can't dislike her what she does is scary but smart too & I applaud a smart murderer lol I can't give this story enough stars I love when a sequel is NOT dry & disappointing. If you're new to J. Rose I suggest starting with Perfect marriage & perfect divorce you can't go wrong 🤩
The Perfect Divorce completely pulled me in from the start. Jeneva Rose does an incredible job building tension and layering the story with twist after twist. Just when I felt like I had a handle on what was happening, another curveball would come out of nowhere—making it impossible to put down.Sarah was easily my favorite character. She’s sharp, confident, and full of depth. I loved how her perspective shaped the story and kept me second-guessing everyone’s motives, including her own. The way the plot unfolds through her eyes adds so much suspense and emotional pull. This isn’t just a typical thriller—it’s a smart, well-paced, and addictive read that keeps your mind spinning. If you enjoy domestic thrillers with complex characters and unexpected turns, you’ll love this one. I’ll definitely be reading more from Jeneva Rose!
It’s been a while since I read The Perfect Marriage, but I think I actually enjoyed this one more. In my opinion, I saw everything coming in The Perfect Marriage from a mile away. And while I did predict most of what happened in this one too, I found myself asking a lot more questions and feeling more involved in the story. Plus, there were a couple of things that happened that wasn’t on my radar.I’m really curious to see how Jeneva approaches book 3. Eleven years after attorney Sarah Morgan saved her first husband, Adam, from a murder conviction, she’s rebuilt her life: new marriage, new career, new baby. Everything collapses when she catches husband #2, Bob, in a one‑night stand and files for divorce—right as fresh DNA evidence resurfaces in Adam’s case, yanking Sarah back into the public glare. Then Bob’s fling disappears, and a messy separation turns into a lethal game of cat‑and‑mouse. With a determined investigator reopening old wounds and new bodies possibly piling up, the question becomes: can Sarah and Bob achieve a “perfect” divorce, or will the vow of ’til death do us part come true the hard way?I loved The Perfect Marriage, but this sequel blows it out of the water. From page one, Jeneva Rose fires off twist after twist—each more devious than the last—and never lets the tension drop. Just when I thought I had the endgame mapped out, the rug flew out from under me. The pacing is razor‑sharp, the stakes feel higher than ever, and Sarah remains a powerhouse lead you can’t stop rooting for even when her life becomes a train wreck. I tore through the book in only a few sittings. Sequels rarely top their predecessors; this one absolutely does.If you crave domestic thrillers packed with courtroom drama, marital warfare, and blindsiding endings, put this series at the top of your list—especially fans of The Perfect Marriage. Content warnings include abduction, abuse, and murder. For anyone who loves gasp‑worthy twists and relentless suspense, The Perfect Divorce is must‑read material.

Will they figure out how to pick up the pieces? The twists and turns kept me turning the pages, but this book only earned 4 stars from me.***
This was a heckuva read. I loved it! Towards the end it got a little boring but definitely a 4.5 ⭐️ readSarah Morgan murderess and top lawyer is always 5 steps ahead of everyone. Especially her estranged 2nd husband Bob Miller. Sarah finds out Bob has cheated on her one time and she doesn’t ask him a single question, she just files for divorce. Bob is desperate to get Sarah back and begs her over and over, but he’s begging a woman with zero emotion. Trust is everything to her, and when trust has been breached, she doesn’t take it too lightly….,just ask Adam. The only thing that is unclear is how Bob ended up in bed with the other woman as he has no recollection of it. He didn’t even know what she looked like….until she goes missing. Bob slowly but surely begins to unravel after he realizes Sarah is not going to take him back. Even after the previous Sheriff is arrested for involuntary manslaughter due to a drunken hit and run. The police station has his blood tested to see if he was responsible for a previous hit and run and it turns out his DNA is a match for the 3rd man that was in the very dead Kelly Summers roster. Now Adam and Kelly’s case is being reopened since it was a botched investigation. And the new sheriff Hudson wants answers. Sarah is the black widow who spins such an illustrious web that most people don’t even realize they’re stuck in it until it’s too late. This book was worth the wait. It’s almost as good as the first book. A definite must read.
