4.5 year old loves it!
First, what I really like about this book is that the font is very large because if it’s a child that is preschool or kindergarten or even first grade, they are able to follow along and can try to read or at least recognize letters. The pictures are also very cute. Not so sure about the way the story goes. It almost intensifies all the fears. The pigeon lists so many fears, but the story really does not remedy the situation except for one page that says that there are experts to help and that there are other kids. I think the book should hone in on that instead of bringing up every single fear a child would have and not addressing those individual fears. Also, there was a question about how to get to school. Well not every child rides a bus - some will walk to school with older kids and many have their parents drop them off so that was not addressed. Since my granddaughter will have her mother drop her off that does not answer that question.I am a retired teacher, and I was hoping for a little more. It could be a really good book and the teacher could have it in the classroom as well.
My granddaughter loves these books.
Cute book, good story. Love this author.
Our 6yr old Daughter is a big Mo Williams fan. She loves the book and is even able to read it to the family. I would recommend any of his stories.
