I loved this book! I think it was as good as the first if not better. Kierse is one of my favorite FMC- she pragmatic, fierce, passionate. I enjoy the mix of monsters and magic. Graves’ arc in this book was very enjoyable and endearing. Can’t wait for the next one!

Oh My! I devoured this book! Not only do we have tension and yearning from our two main characters, while repairing the fragile trust between each other, but we also have so many other dynamic side characters that pull the story along. There's twists and turns, betrayals, reveals...for every question answered, another pops up. This was a fast pasted, non stop read...and those last several chapters!!! OMG! I was gripping my kindle so hard, I honestly didn't know what was going to happen. I am fully invested and can't wait for the next book. If you love a good enemies to lovers, forced proximity, found family, tortured here, spicy! romance, with magic, Celtic mythology, and monsters in NYC...then read this book/series.

Yall. This book. 🔥 I seriously was counting down the days to the release and couldn't read it fast enough. Absolutely recommend! Already ready for the next one

Wow this was a 5 star read for me. This book picks right up where The Wren in the Holly Library left off. I couldn’t put this one down. That ending has me in a chokehold. I need book 3. I am team Graves. I felt like I was on an emotional roller coaster the whole time. I loved it.Thank you #entangledinsiders for letting me read this.

I was given an ARC sneak Peek copy of The Robin on the Oak Throne by K.A. Linde, and I am super excited for the 17th to be here so I can read the rest of this story.I am team Graves all the way.Book 2 starts with Kierse in Paris at the Queen of the Nymphs' palace, and she is...you guessed it...stealing an invitation to get into the palace to steal a bracelet for the goblins as a way to gain access to their market for information about herself.Graves shows up just as she is about to be caught, and he saves the day....This duo is back together 5 months after book 1's ending, and you can feel the love from these two in the pages.I'm eager to read what happens next. Will Kierse forgive Graves? Will they live happily ever after? Will there be a book 3?Thank you, NetGalley, for allowing me to read this. I am now counting the days until the 17th.

OMG!! This book was on heck of a ride. I loved it. You had suspense, anger, anticipation, all the heat, and a whole lot of wanting to smack Lorcan on the head. 🤣 We got quite a few answers to questions we were left with in book 1 but those were replaced with more questions. When is book 3 coming out? Asking for a friend. I loved the build up from book 1 to book 2. It was hard to put this one down and adult. Graves is still my fave. I can't wait to see what happens next.

I loved this book so much!I was lucky enough to receive an eARC And let me tell you how loud I screamed when I opened my email. 😂If you haven’t read the Wren in the Holly Library yet you need to put it on your TBR right now.Graves and Kierce are both such interesting characters to me. Graves sees him as the Villain of his story. He doesn’t try to defend or excuse his actions. And even through two books he still holds so much mystery. Kielce on the other hand is a closed book. Her life as taught her not to trust others. And she has a hard time opening up to anybody except for her two best friends. Her greatest challenge in everything she does is always herself. Letting herself truly go and be vulnerable is something she fights to do.I really don’t want to give away much of the plot of this book. However If you haven’t read the first book in the series I would do so immediately. I will say that with each reveal and each new mystery I was sucked deeper into the story. It’s definitely one of my favorite books I’ve read in a while and I cannot wait for the next book

This world has a dark and gritty presence to it but holds some of the most lovable characters that you can't help but root for. The found family trope feels pure and authentic. We get to see the main characters experience so much character development and growth as they deal with the fallout from the events in book one. That bond's resilience is put to the test time and time again because there is no shortage of secrets, lies and betrayal when you're dealing with scheming power-hungry monsters.The heat and tension between Graves and Wren, Linde went ahead and cranked that spice level all the way up . I can not wait until I can share some of the quotes I highlighted, I was unprepared for Graves passionate mouth 🥵For every question answered a new one arose, this plot is packed with tension, suspense and hidden agendas-- I can't wait to see where this story takes us next!Thank you K.A. When I say I loved this book that doesn't even begin to describe it. It took over my mind for days and I still can't get the betrayal (or that ending) out of my mind.I devoured this book in two days. It's amazing, a masterclass in creating a story that will keep a reader enthralled, and it had me falling off of my couch at the end of that last line.Now, I promised I wouldn't give out any spoilers, and I won't, but let me just say everything you think you know going into this book... well, things may not always end up how you think they will or want them to.Going into this right after re-reading The Wren In The Holly, I still wasn't prepared for the backstabbing and betrayal, and oh, there's so much betrayal but also the feeling of family, the adventure, and enough spice to keep you warm on a cold New York night.Now, let's talk about the ending for just a moment; I know this is supposed to be a duology, but dare I hope for more in this world? As shattered as my brain and heart are at the moment I want more, so so so much more, and maybe some merch, but that's just my book-loving self hoping.

A magically intriguing slow burn romance in this whimsical adventure of gods and lore. An original storyline to capture the interest of the reader, and I loved the continuation of the storyline from book 1 along with the growth of the characters. I love all the twists and turns within the plot.“A weapon is only as powerful as its weakness, and you are mine.”

Holy wow. KA Linde has really outdone herself on this one. This is not only a 5 star read, this is a ten star read. No encountering a book 2 slump here, as The Robin on the Oak Throne picks right back up where Wren left off. Out of the gate Kirse is up to something, and Graves is well… Graves. Immediately we are introduced to so many new characters that help to build the story, and the most unexpected of things that they bring to it. I cannot say enough good things here, you just have to read it to experience it.Also, can we talk about the representation in this book?! It is not tacky, it does not look down on anyone and is done in a manner that is boat tasteful and treated with the utmost of care to those being represented. I thought we got a lot of representation in book one but book 2 really knocked it out of the park.Book 2 of any series is typically world building and character development in ay series, however KA Linde has managed to do this while also maintaining the story. Also, the twists were twisting, and I did NOT see the end coming at all. I’ll admit it... I was emotionally destroyed and cried. I am also pretty sure I stared at the wall for about 15 minutes after. I cannot recommend this series enough, and I cannot wait for book 3 to be out!Thank you Entangled and Red Tower for the opportunity to read this ARC early!

Who even is she or what is this new magic? The action, twists, world building, and secrets continue as kierse gets ready for another hiest, and of course another monstor treaty broken. Yet do we ever find out the true source of her power, and can she reach her potential? We get glimpses into fave characters, as well as more new ones to fall in love with. We dont just follow kierse, but we follow the growth of even her friends. if you thought you disliked Lorcan in book 1, be bracing. Our fave Shadow Daddy, Graves, did not disappoint, and we even see more into his own self/history. The spice was giving, but when that man said "my wife"... I instantly melted, and it never let up 🫠. The plot development made me feel i was reading a movie that I didnt want to end. On that note... Mrs. Linde... that ending! Ma'am, we need book 3 asap.
