It had everything, marriage, friendship, family drama. I couldn't stop reading it. I feel this way about all of Elin's books though.
I love all of Elin's books, this was a great read.
Alin Hilderbrand writes the best books! Her stories about Nantucket are captivating, beautifully written, and so enjoyable to read. I always feel like I’m right there on the island with her characters. Highly recommend her books to anyone who loves heartfelt, well-crafted stories. Can’t wait to read more!

You'll feel like so most seaside cocktails out, sand is nearby, you're sure you hear the waves not local traffic as you relax and read of these flawed friends their tween kids & husbands.Thrilled to go back to to you trusted family😂😅💗It's about Best Friends Madeline & Grace and what's perhaps 'really' going on in their lives when little thing's begin to occur that are seen by ... You know "snoopy nosey others" 🙄 then they tell someone-who tells someone tho a smidge different🙄and so on and so on and so on.. The Rumors actually.Madeline King- is an Author with 1 book. Working on 2nd with bad writers block, already spent most of the advance-uh oh. Rented an apt to have quite to write although she not writing. She may be going to do something terrible because she has a deadline looming, and may take sensitive secret for her story.Husband Trevor is an airline pilot with an independent airline and he supports her writing.Son Brick going out with 1 of best friend Grace's twin daughters Allegra, tho it's doesn't look like a fantastic relationship.Grace Pancik- Socialite, overwhelming fixated on redesigning her backyard Garden making it a paradise🌹.Husband- Eddie, realtor know in Nantucket called 'fast Eddie' likes to live the High Life although secretly he is in Huge debt Big time. .Looking for a way to find a way to make a bit of side $ money.They have Twin daughters tweens Hope and Allegra. Both totally different in every way. Fascinating. They look alike tho. Allegra is dating Grace and Eddie's son Bricktho Allegra seem to have other idea's, she also isn't very nice, blows off school,vs Hope studies and has always liked Brick.Adding to the mix-Benton Coe - Master Gardner who is going to 'help' Grace redesign her back yard garden to a paradise.I think reading this we can ALL see a bit of how Rumors start when reading. Everyone has a new car come over😂😅😂 It's happened to me, probably to youand you too. I don't look out my windows or talk to neighbors about anything but out furkids.🐾🐾 It always my husband and myself and our furchild🐾🐶 out in the neighborhood walking. We all know each other thru our 🐾pups😂😅😂.Not quite the same, big yards lots to do, too busy.Funny to read📚Writing is incredibly fabulous, it draws you into an area with characters that are real.I lived out on Long Island and the feel reading is incredible.Enjoying the fabulousness of this Author.
Every time I read a book by Ms. Hilderbrand is a magical time away from the world. She has a way with words, plots, thoughts and it is like a magical carpet ride into the place she has created with her story and words.I absolutely adore her books!!
