Olive has always been the exact opposite of her sister, Ami. She has always been on the bad luck side of life, while her sister has always gotten the luck. AMi’s meet-cute fiancé is straight out of a romantic comedy movie, which Olive would gag over. Now, Ami is getting married, and she got her whole wedding paid for by winning a series of internet contests. Even her honeymoon is fully paid for. Like, who gets to be this lucky? And the worst part about the next 24hours is the best man. It seems like Ethan has hated Olive for the longest time, and Olive just can not stand hearing it over and over again. Until the whole wedding party, except the two, gets food poisoning. Now there is a whole honeymoon paid for, and it seems like the two are going to put their differences aside and spend some time in Hawaii together.This was the absolute best vacation read I could have read while in Greece. It was so funny and light at the same time. I loved the bickering between Ethan and Olivie. The two were a perfect match right off the bat. And now fake married in Hawaii I couldn’t have asked fot a better couple. It felt like spending vacation with them. They had some hard talks about the differences they had but the fun they had together topped everything. Honestly that would have been a fun couple to spend some time with. I frigging loved this book! I loved how easy it was, how fun it was, how many laughs it gave me and how it kept my attention from the first page. My only wish is that it has the dual narration throughout the entire book, it would have made it even more enjoyable.This was my first book from Christina Lauren and I cannot wait to read the others they have written together! If this book was any indication of what is to be expected then I will be one happy reader!
I love this book…so fun and light-hearted. I caught myself feeling happy, embarrassed and laughing out-loud at the situations Olive and Ethan found themselves in. It’s not classic literature but it’s a fun read!
I absolutely enjoyed this book! I have been in a bit of a reading slump, and this little baby pulled me right out! It was light, and fluffy and feel good and I are it up in a day. Just a delight!
The banter between Olive and Ethan is perfection—classic enemies-to-lovers with tropical vibes and just the right amount of spice. Super quick read, great characters, and full of feel-good moments. If you love a rom-com that makes you smile, grab this one!
