The Villa Next Door is a suspenseful thriller focusing on a couple, Ryan and Emma who are having problems with their marriage due to his infidelity and roving eyes. They accept a family vacation in Menorca which they hope will strengthen their marriage and also be enjoyed by Callie, their sick year old daughter. The vacation seems perfect until Callie is abducted and a ransom for her return is issued. This intriguing thriller has plot twists, drama, suspense, and complex characters which makes it an enjoyable read.I received a free copy of this book via Bernard's Books and am voluntarily leaving a review.
Couldn't put it down ! Really. Started off as a great vacation and meeting people is always fun for us. CharacterDevelopment was easy going at first but knowing that Callie would disappear made all the difference from the light writing to test and turns of a great mystery. Don't miss this one!
This was an excellent book. It had great characters and twists and turns everywhere. Ryan and Emma Burrows won a luxury vacation to Menorca and they take it as a sign to help repair their marriage and get things back on track and enjoy time with their young daughter. Things seem perfect. Until one day their six year old daughter Callie disappears and a ransom note shows up. Could their vacation neighbors have something to do with it?
This was just ok. I couldn't get over the husband, completely unlikable. Plot twists were obvious.
