INSTANT NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

Kerri Maniscalco makes her adult debut with this New York Times bestselling sensation, a "hot" new standalone fantasy romance (Jennifer L. Armentrout) about a dark prince battling an impossible curse--and the artist who might be the only one who can set him free.

Sinner. Villain. Wicked.

The Prince of Envy has never claimed to be a saint. But when a cryptic note arrives, signaling the beginning of a deadly game, he knows it will take more than a hint of sin to win and save his falling demon court. Riddles, hexed objects, anonymous players, nothing will stand in his way, though none of his meticulous plans prepare him for her, the frustrating artist who ignites his sin like no other...

Virtuous. Darling. Liar.

The trouble with scoundrels and blackguards is that they haven't a modicum of honor, a fact Miss Camilla Antonius learns after one desperate mistake allows Waverly Green's most notorious rake to blackmail her. To avoid a ruinous scandal, Camilla is forced to enter a devil's bargain with Envy, little expecting his game will awaken her true nature . . .

Together, Envy and Camilla must embark on a perilous journey through the Underworld--from glittering demon courts to the sultry vampire realm and beyond--while trying to avoid the most dangerous trap of all: falling in love.

Holy slow burn!

Demons and Fae and vampires in Bridgerton setting. Fun read with super slow burn, a bit too drawn out for me, but still good. Riddles and games and over all good read, just thought it was a bit too stretched out.

Envy is in the eye of the beholder!

Ugh!! I loved this book so much! I enjoyed Envy and Camilla’s banter and sexual tension! I loved the story from beginning to end! I can’t wait to read more from this series! I bought the second book before I finished this first one! I was already hooked! Off to the next one! I’m soo excited as to the next story and what might happen next! Also, the ending was beautiful! Had me in tears! 😭💕

Finishing Throne of the Fallen was my 100th read of 2025

I tore through Throne of the Fallen in under 24 hours. While I still favor The Kingdom of the Wicked series, this installment had its moments.Focusing on Prince Envy means the romance is very explicit—more than I typically enjoy—but I loved immersing myself in the hierarchy of Hell’s princes and the wider cast of goddesses, witches, fae, and shapeshifters. If you’re drawn to equally strong (or stronger) romantic threads alongside your plot, you’ll find a lot to savor here. I, on the other hand, prefer a firmer plot foundation with just a dash of romance, so I’m rating it 3.75 out of 5 stars. And on a personal high note, finishing Throne of the Fallen was my 100th read of 2025—goal officially crushed with six months still left to go!

here for the plot lol

Thank you Angie for this recommendation!! I actually really enjoyed the story line so much. The spicy fantasy Bridgeton vibes is everything. Lot of emphasis on the spicy but the build up of the lust between the MCs was so good gahhhh
