Charming, deadly, and smart enough to hide it, Christian Harper is a monster dressed in the perfectly tailored suits of a gentleman.
He has little use for morals and even less use for love, but he can't deny the strange pull he feels toward the woman living just one floor below him.
She's the object of his darkest desires, the only puzzle he can't solve. And when the opportunity to get closer to her arises, he breaks his own rules to offer her a deal she can't refuse.
Every monster has their weakness. She's his.
His obsession.
His addiction.
His only exception.

Sweet, shy, and introverted despite her social media fame, Stella Alonso is a romantic who keeps her heart in a cage.
Between her two jobs, she has little time or desire for a relationship.
But when a threat from her past drives her into the arms--and house--of the most dangerous man she's ever met, she's tempted to let herself feel something for the first time in a long time.
Because despite Christian's cold nature, he makes her feel everything when she's with him.
Passionate.
Protected.
Truly wanted.
Theirs is a love twisted with secrets and tainted by lies...and when the truths are finally revealed, they could shatter everything.

I enjoyed all four of these titles and while I don’t generally like the dark billionaire romance, I did like this one. I liked the sweetness of Stella contrasted with the saltiness of Christian. Enjoyable story.
This book is a slow burn in the best way. Very well written, fast paced, a lot of tension, VERY spicy when the spice came, and kept my interest. I could not put it down! I love their love story!
The book was good! It definitely kept my attention! I’d recommend reading the whole series!! All of there stories are interesting
Absolutely loved it. It was a great spicy slow romance. So happy that after all the year of letting people walk over her Stella finally was able to stand up for herself all thanks to the love Christian has for her. His love is everything you want in someone. They was he loves her for who she is and what she wants to be. Loved it so much can’t wait to start reading the king of sin series.
This was a really good book. It was slow at the beginning and I was worried that it was going to be a dud, but it picked up and I looked forward to reading it every day.

I bought Twisted Love to read while on vacation, and I was completely hooked. I loved it so much that the moment I had cell service again (I was on a cruise), the very first thing I did was order the rest of the series! From the first page, these books are impossible to put down. The characters, chemistry, and suspense kept me turning pages late into the night.I’m already getting ready to purchase two of the author’s other series because this one exceeded all my expectations. If you’re looking for a romance that will keep you hooked from beginning to end, I highly recommend giving this series a try. You won’t regret it!

Just because I really liked Christian Harper… a different type of morally gray boyfriend I never knew I needed.Though I am not a particularly fan of this series, this book has reached my soul. Could be the fact that I was reading it in Italy as well…Would have loved the FMC to be more bold and strong, though her character development was a save in the end 😊
I’m really happy with this book! It arrived in excellent condition, with no damaged pages or marks. Cover looks great, and it was well packaged, it looks almost brand new. Definitely worth buying
Honestly read this because my daughter wanted to read it. The spice is about a 🌶️🌶️🌶️ and the plot was good. I just felt as if it went on a bit too long in areas and rushed in others. It wasn’t bad 3.5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨
The twists and turns keep you on the edge of your seat. Couldn’t put it down and when I did I couldn’t wait to open it back up!
Excellent book. Arrived in great conditions.
My favorite of the Twisted series. I highly recommend the entire Twisted series. The storyline of each couple is really good.
Beauty and the Iceman. Stella is a ray of sunshine and Christian darkness. Great characters and story telling. Danger, family stress and friends who are your chosen family. No cliffhanger and hea. Love this author.
Although outside of "a regular couple," it was a really good storyline. It's much harder to relate with the goings on with the jobs and behind the scenes murders but the love story was cute.
I just don’t think this author is for me. It has a lot of the tropes I like and hero archetypes I like as well but the plots always feel contrived. Made up. The stalker Stella had was believable with her social media presence. But the reveal of who it was wasn’t really even interesting to me. Like it was a second thought to the plot. Especially how all that happened wasn’t just the stalker. I didn’t care about the painting or really much of anything except Christian. His disdain for love and reluctance to kiss I thought would be more interesting as well. The real kicker was the reason for the 3/4 breakup. Spoiler ahead her finding out he had pulled a whole profile on her was not shocking. File folders of her past seems normal for his analytical personality, that fact he owns a cyber and personal security company, and he is a billionaire who had her move in PLUS was helping her with a stalker. I expected it to be her finding out he killed someone or something. But no she knew and accepted that part of him just not him having files about her past. Plus this author tends to attempt slow burn relationships with contrived reasons for the MMC to basically yearn but do nothing about it and then bam the next chapter it’s a crazy spice scene out of the blue. Plus her spice always has a darker bdsm tone to it that lacks tender moments. Idk I just didn’t care for any in this series.
Great ending to the series. I really liked this book, except for the break up scene. (C'mon, that's not a spoiler, there's usually a break up scene). I feel like Stella was a little overdramatic given the situation and his history. I rolled my eyes but kept reading, of course. I liked the epilogue that let us check in on all of the couples as well!I think my favorite part was how Stella talked about Christian supporting her and that made her be brave and bolder, and overall more confident. (The bar is so low...)
What a twist! I thought deep down he was going to turn out to be the stalker. But I was glad when he wasn’t. What a great story! I’m glad they both got their good love story!
Ana ended the series on a high with this one. Twisted Lies has officially become my favorite of the Twisted Series by Ana Huang.Twisted Lies is a spicy, slow burn, fake dating romance with elements of stalking, violence and past trauma. The writing was exquisite (as we already know with Ana) and the pacing was just right. It never dragged or felt like it was too long.I was extremely excited to read Cristian's story after seeing his cameo roles in the previous books, and I just knew I was gonna love his character, and Ana Huang did not disappoint. Christian Harper is simply the perfect morally gray book boyfriend we all need. We knew the cold, calculated billionaire had a dark, dangerous side to him, but we learn here that even though he doesn't think he could love but Stella is an exception. His love is basically an obsession, and he is extremely protective of her.Stella is an absolute sweetheart with the kindest hearts, and I loved learning more about her personality . It was nice to see her growth. She has a strong front in front of others and tends to keep the peace by pleasing those around her but has struggled with a lot of anxiety and self-doubt within. It was lovely to see her growth by the end to a confident woman who does what she desires and speaks up for herself without fear. The chemistry between the two was absolutely sizzling and what made this story so epic. Their love and connection was something intense and they completed each other perfectly! This series has become one of my all-time faves especially in contemporary romances and would recommend it to all romance lovers. I totally see myself coming back for a reread!
This book is the last of the series. As I finished, I felt so empty and unwell! I cannot believe this series had such an impact on me as a reader. The series wrapped up well and Ana Huang is an amazing author. She always has me hooked with whatever she writes. I'm glad that even though the series can be read standalone, I still read them in order, which tugged at my emotions as I got to know each couple individually. As for the tome itself, I thought it was a masterpiece! The pacing was definitely taking its time, but i loved EVERY MINUTE of it as I am a sucker for slow AGONIZING burn love. Christian was a sloth but it's alright because once everything unraveled, it was worth it. I LOVEEE CHRISTIAN. HE IS THE STANDARD! He is a romantic, detailed-oriented, helpful, grumpy, ruthless, crazy, psycho, shrewd, intelligent, irrational, you name it. He is my DREAM book boyfriend. Don't even get me started on his suits, always adjusting cuff links and sleeves rolls, and yanking his ties (I melted every time). One of my favorite scenes was when Christian took her to his apartment and bathed her. He is such a gentleman it hurts. Also how he comforted Stella when he found her crumbled up under her sidetable because she was so frightened with the stalker. The scene almost made me tear up. Stella is one of the most delicate, royal, compassionate character. I think her character development was written really well. She went from this scared, demure, and a pleaser to confident and strong person (with Christian's help of course). Even though Christian is a psychopath, I was ravenous for him! He blew up someone's car because they smiled at him wrong and them stolen his parking spot. Especially when he was dealing with the stalker had me GAGGED! Or when he stabbed Stella's groper hand slowly and then spilled his $20k vintage wine on his ravaged wound, then shot the guy on his way out, GAGGEDD! His ruthlessness is so so sexy and fine. Especially when he puts on his "gloves." I love his obsession with Stella! This man lowered their rent with a "done," no debate needed. I love all the couples' friendships. They are a family and are always there to protect one another. It was beautiful how they try to make as much time with each other now that they're all grown. Alex's and Josh's cameos were funny. Josh was always saying/doing something inane to piss Christian and Alex off. Did I mention how HOT it was to see Christian and Alex play chess together? Drool!! I'm beaming with joy that Ava, Bridget, Jules, and Stella have found their love partners and deservedly so. Their bond is unbreakable. Congrats to Ava, Bridget, and Stella with the twin, daughter, and a pregnancy. Christian will EAT his words AGAIN as always for making fun of Rhys being a father (though certain kids really were obnoxious). Overall, this series is immaculate and perfect in every way. It is a must read AND as much as i hate to say this, but they definitely need to be read in order! P.S. Christian chipped away at me piece by piece. Christian has my heart, mind, and soul.
4.75 ⭐️3 🌶OMG!!!! I read this book in 24 hours and somehow even 2 weeks later, have not processed it completely. The book hangover is INTENSEI don’t know how it’s possible but every book in the Twisted series gets better than the last. Thai time around with Stella and Christian is no exception. They are two people you wouldn't picture together but make sense in every way. They bring out the best in each other: Christina helps Stella self-confident and she makes him you know less...morally gray 😂.I loved Stella! Before starting Twisted Lies, I didn’t think I’d like her story because she isn’t as prominent in the other books so there wasn’t a lot of connection. After finishing, I can say she’s my favorite Twisted girl. She’s inspiring: despite her internal battles with anxiety, trust issues as well as family struggles, she still exudes genuine kindness. And Mr. Christian Harper takes boy obsessed to a whole new level (what is it with men named Chrisitan and obsessions?! Thinking of Allister from the Maddest Obsession here). I was living for his ‘touch her and I’ll kill you’ energy the entire time. Sir was out here calling Rhys whipped 2 books ago?! Like he was eating up those words with a forklift all throughout this book. And I don’t know anyone else but I love a borderline-stalker simp so Christian is an instant book boyfriend for life. One of the best things about Ana Huang’s books is the writing. I think the Twisted series has some of the best crafted romances I’ve ever read. They never lag, even with the ones over 500 pages. Not only is there an organic build up of each relationship with real struggles to overcome but each character has an independant arc and so much nuance. I’m not usually a fan of a slow burn but after reading Stella and Christian’s story, I can see its merit. This couple especially needed some build up because unlike the other Twisted couples, they didn’t know each other for years. ALSO each FMC is so relatable! I simultaneously want to be them and be best friends with them. Speaking of best friends, that epilogue got me wishing for a similar future with my own friends. In terms of rating, I’d say the spice is on par with Twisted Love, which I consider 3/5 🌶. And Twisted Hate was my highest rated book of the year and everything, including Twisted Lies, is inadvertently compared with it. So I’d say this book is around 4.75 ⭐️.Overall, Ana Huang did not disappoint 🤩. I love everything about this book even though I prefer a fast burn to a slow burn.Rarely is there an ending as satisfying as this. Ana Huang’s Twisted Lies is a love letter to the entire series and fans everywhere will be equally satisfied and heartbroken when saying goodbye to these characters. I recommend the Twisted series to all of my friends and I'll be reading everything else Ana writes, starting with King of Wrath in October 2022!Tropes: slow burn, forced proximity, billionaire romance, grumpy-sunshineFinal series ranking:Twisted HateTwisted LiesTwisted GamesTwisted LoveFMC:StellaJulesBridgetAvaMMC:JoshChristianRhysAlex
