Uncharted

This book is a delightful tale and something I wish I had been able to read when I was younger as the theme is similar to my own upbringing. It is suitable for teens because the spice level is low but, romantic nonetheless. I will happily finish the trilogy

This tropw is everything and cinder is hit as f^@#! If you played porates or princess or both as a kid and swoon at the idea of a woman with and octopus tattooed along her clavicle hop on board! The romance takes a minute as the world is established but it feels worth it and as there are two more books I'm sure we will get more of the main couple. Fingers crossed for now second book syndrom, more swoon worthy romance and swashbuckling in book 2

George and Lou, what is there to say? This book is like the Princess Bride if Wesley was a fierce lady who managed to snag Buttercup at the Cliffs of Insanity. Beautifully written prose driven by an adventurous plot. Temple's worldbuilding is top tier.

This book is great for readers looking for; sweet, LGBTQ+, fantasy. I'd say it's more geared towards younger audiences, maybe rated 13+. Very little swearing and no spice 🌶️. There is some minor explicit violence, but it's very short lived. The characters were all likable and they were pretty fleshed out! This was one of the first books that I've read with an explicitly coded "androgynous" character.There were a few grammar/literary errors, but nothing too bad. All together this was a very sweet book. A nice slow-burn that I was able to read (off and on) in a few days. If you sat and read everything in one sitting, it might take you a few hours.**Spoiler Alert**(No spicy scenes, so if that's something you're looking for this probably isn't the book for you. There are some mid kissing, but otherwise, anything more "heated" is only slightly implied. There is one scene that describes the murder of a character via blunt force to the head. So if that is too graphic for you, read at your own risk. Honestly, it lasts about one paragraph. All other kills are "off-screen" or are done in less violent ways.)

A very exciting and well written book with great characters. Thoroughly enjoyed the action and suspense. Loved the romantic aspect as well. Nice read.
