Very well written and there are alot of things they did that I thought were better then the movie. I enjoyed the character V but would have liked to see more of his back story and I get it, hes not the point, the idea of this mythical person is. One aspect I did enjoy more in the movie were some of the scenes that set the people "off" so to speak. Like in the movie the little girl in the V mask and the kind of overall feeling you got from the people in the movie, like the "population/people" of England in the movie seemed more discontent with their circumstances where as I didnt feel it as much in the story. They seemed perfectly fine, NOT HAPPY, but certainly not ready to revolt and take back whats their. The book though did a better job explaining more about what happened before like the war and stuff. Again really enjoyed the book but just something didn't click like I thought it would. Like when I read WATCHMEN for the 1st time and the few times after. Maybe I understood it better but I walked away from this impressed and happy i read it but it didn't have that OMG moment or that wow/it factor TO ME, just my opinion. Def still highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good story and a great leading character. Usually cant go wrong when reading Alan Moore!!
