I’m not sure how to express my feeling about this book. But it kept me reading till the end. I usually try not to read more than a book a week but I have to start the next one right after writing this review. Kennedy, if good at nothing else, has this invisible ability to tie a tight nod between the readers and the fictional characters in her books. I feel so invested in Walsh, and I need to keep reading to find out if things will work out for him.
I like that. I wanted it so bad, hoped for it but it never came and I appreciate that. Looking forward to the next book in this series .
Kennedy Ryan has written so much better. I was disappointed.
I was annoyed with this book until I got halfway through. I didn’t like the way the author made the main character Kerris. She made her seem childlike even at her age of 25. Very unfortunate that Walsh & Kerris couldn’t be together they seemed to be a better fit. Kerris’s relationship with Cam appeared very surface leveled & I think she settled. Kerris is a people pleaser which was also annoying.
I am a Kennedy Ryan fan and this book kept me entertained because the dynamics were taboo. Love is love in my opinion. Kerris should have just been honest with Cam from the beginning, but things just got too complicated. I don’t even know where part 2 is going so let’s hope it’s juicy! Although the situation is crazy, I think that’s what makes this book so intriguing.
