I absolutely love Rosie and Ford!! I love their dynamic and I love their dynamic with Cora as well! Took me a while to finish it because of school, but I’m so happy I did. It made me laugh and cry and I loved watching them admit they love each other!!
I loved every word of this story! The history between Ford and Rosie was absolutely perfect. I could have read an entire book about their bickering and pranks growing up. I really loved how deep his feelings went for her, but he didn't think it would ever be possible. Rosie has the kind of fiesty, independent spirit that makes you laugh and wish for some of that in your own personality. Ford was more cerebral and serious, yet he burned for her. My heart soared every time he protected her or let a little bit of feelings slip out. Together, these two were straight fire. Every interaction was perfection. The evolution of their relationship was very entertaining and fun to read. I absolutely loved Cora and her role in this story. All of the characters were amazing and added so much to the story.
I absolutely love Rosie and her banter! The way her and Ford go back and forth is so refreshing to read. I loved this storyline and of how this story bloomed, I wouldn’t have thought I’d be reading a small town romance, but here we are😍
I loved it! Such a cute story with the right amount of frustration to longing. He falls first and she falls hard. I’ll for sure pick up the next book in the series. I couldn’t put this one down. It was like reading candy. But I would like it put out there, because I would have liked to have known—there is mention of ALS and someone passing away from it. My own mother has ALS and we have already lost my aunt and grandfather to it. It played a minor role in this story but it felt a bit shocking to read it.
Silver did a great job here weaving in the stories of past to present with some drama and family dynamics all mixed with just the right amount of chaos. You’ll laugh and maybe even tear up a bit as you read about the characters in this spicy romance.
