I was in a serious slump so I went back to the first Alex Cross novel. Great character and great story. He switches first person perspective way too often and many readers hate that in an author but you get used to it. I enjoyed the book!
Was hooked on this till the last moment , gripping and fast paced.One of the best works of James Patterson , kept me entertained till the end.RegardsMohammed Roshan

This is a great book. The character development is outstanding. In the twist and turns will keep you guessing all the way to the end.
I started the Alex Cross series years ago and loved them, but I never made it thru the entire series. Since it has been many years since I started the series, I decided to start back at book #1. Along Came a Spider is a fast paced thriller that will keep you reading late into the night! Alex and his partner Samson get called to a murder scene not far from home, then they were quickly taken off of the triple homicide to be put onto a kidnapping case. Alex and Sampson were not happy about being removed from the murder investigation, but quickly realized that there was a lot more to the kidnapping case and they refused to stop looking for the 2 young children that were kidnapped from their school. This book is well worth the read! I am glad that I started this series over and can not wait to read book #2 again!
