I had already read the 2nd book and I had to get this one since the 2nd one was very good and got my attention. I’ll be happy to start reading this one soon and I can’t wait for the 3rd one as well to read. I didn’t think I would like the series much, but I was wrong for sure.
I didn't realize this was a debut Novel until the end and I read the note about the author. Amazing story. I loved all the characters and am looking forward to reading more of your stories. Thank you for sharing this story with us. Can't wait to start the next book.
I love a good mystery and the author did a good job on this one. I enjoyed the character development and will be reading the next one in t he series.
I was enjoying the book and getting into the story line when some of the information was unnecessarily sexually graphic. It made me think twice about reading another book in this series. But, the story was well written, and it kept me reading long past when I should have been doing other things. By the time I finished the book I looking for the next one in this series! So yes, 5 stars!
This story takes place in a small town where you really get to know the town and its people. Det Ben Packard is a spectacular main character! The twists and turns of intertwining stories create a world of intrigue and interesting characters that you'll get lost in - in the best way!One minor critique: the descriptions of every building and physical space are over-the-top and could be pared back enough to cut 50 pages from the book. It was enough to drop a star from 5 to 4.
