"Another winner . . . Pungent observations, indelibly drawn characters and a twisting, surprise-laden plot."--Atlanta Journal and Constitution
Kidnappers have snatched the teenage son of super-star golfer Linda Coldren and her husband, Jack, an aging pro, at the height of the U.S. Open. To help get the boy back, sports agent Myron Bolitar goes charging after clues and suspects from the Main Line mansions to a downtown cheaters' motel--and back in time to a U.S. Open twenty-three years ago, when Jack Coldren should have won, but didn't. Suddenly Myron finds him self surrounded by blue bloods, criminals, and liars. And as one family's darkest secrets explode into murder, Myron finds out just how rough this game can get.
In novels that crackle with wit and suspense, Edgar Award winner Harlan Coben has created one of the most fascinating and complex heroes in suspense fiction--Myron Bolitar--a hotheaded, tenderhearted sports agent who grows more and more engaging and unpredictable with each page-turning appearance.
"Sharp plotting and emotional density, as well as nonstop wisecracks."--Publishers Weekly

Love this series. Three stars only because I donβt watch or understand golf so did not enjoy as much as other Bolitar mysteries. Still suspenseful and twists a plenty!
You canβt go wrong with Myron Bolitar. There is always twist and turns that, at least left me, binge reading. All ready for βOne False Moveβ. Harlan Coben is an expert in mixing mystery with a bit of comedy. There has always been a belly laugh or two that is refreshing.
This Myron Bolitar story flows from beginning to end. Lots of twists, as small as they were. Understand that this could have been complicated and convoluted, but it was not.Who did what to whom? All throughout the book, that is the story that pervades.Buy it, read it and enjoy this Myron story with the other characters who play into the book almost on every page.
I have been in the process of reading this entire series and I thought it was going to get boring or tiring ...but not even close every book makes me excited to read the next one finished this 1 quicker than the 1st 3 def a page turner more secrets and reveals than I could keep up Idk how he but he keeps the stories from becoming predictable and boring & I love Win π so ofc I have to keep reading for that reason alone.
