This book was an amazing read. While the current federal administration wants to negate the existence of trans people, this book shares detailed stories of trans people's lives over the past 175 years.
This book is a masterclass in archival discovery. It surfaces so many incredible trans stories that otherwise might have been lost to history, and feels certain to be a classic in the field.
This book is a fascinating, fun and thought provoking chronicle of 30 remarkable people who lived there lives in their genuine gender. Sometimes as a curiosity and often supported by their communities. We know that gender diversity is a part of the human experience and It is both informative and fascinating to see how people lived their lives as an expression of their true selves.
